Royal Chef

One of the OG Chinese spots. This is a very common place to get takeout in the Ewing area. Food usually come out quick and hot, and they didn’t inflate their prices too bad after Covid hit! I’ve never gotten food that was bad here! The food is the best when it’s not busy because they really take their time and cook the food for longer.

First time ordering from this place. Very very good. Got the orange chicken combo w/ veg rice and eggroll. Delicious! Food was ready for pick up. They were pretty busy but the guy in the front was very nice. Will be back

Good quality food and generous portions. Make sure the order you pick up is indeed the order you make, mistakes happen often, but when they do, the restaurant will correct it, and have you keep the erroneous order at no charge

Great food and superior customer service. An item was missing from our pick up order and they immediately offered to drop it off. It arrived less than 10 minutes later. We'll definitely continue to order from them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for great takeout.

Food was hot and smelled good. Hot and sour soup was bland and they did not provide fried noodles which is important with hot and sour soup. There were no sauces in the bag and none were offered and the egg roll from the combo platter was also bland, decent with some soy sauce. The fried rice was the best part, the pork was delicious in it, and the gen tsos chicken flavor wise but excellent but the chicken was sketchy. The meal gave me diarrhea the next day and the combo platter was too small to save any for the next day.

An inexpensive storefront Chinese restaurant. Covid precautions in place, so takeout only at present, but decent food made quickly at reasonable prices.Food: 3/5

Royal Chef is not only the best take-out place we've tried, we can favorably compare it with sit-down restaurants throughout Mercer County. The food is as good as any in the area, and better in a number of ways than most - complex seasoning, excellent quality ingredients, very responsive to requested substitutions or even 'creative' customized dishes. Prices are very competitive and the menu is extensive. Plus, this is October 2021, masks and interesting sanitary procedures for payment and pickup are still in place. The staff is fluent and friendly.

The food at Royal Chef is excellent and their staff is very friendly. We found a new favorite!
