Not my style and probably that's why I'm giving it a max of 3. It is a retro place but needs some shaping up. Coffee taste is different but in a good way. Haven't tasted the food. Not all the seats are comfy and I don't think it's for a trendy crowed. If you want a quiet place to sit and sip your drink then this is it.
Very spacious coffee shop with an exclusive room for open mic. Artfully decorated and super cozy. It provides distinctive tea lattes and coffee varieties. Friendly owner and competent staff. Love the free water featuring fresh mint in a mason jar, but would rather drink my coffee/tea from glass cups than disposible ones.
Super cute! Wonderful staff. Great fresh food. Peach tea and smoothie both yum. You can buy the art.
Hands down best coffee around. BUT there is only ONE electrical outlet in the entire building!!! So unfortunately, it's not very feasible to do school work here. Otherwise, they have decent wifi, good food, and events evening nights.

This food is a fusion type food. The service is great.
Stopped on the way to the airport. Very funky spot. Very nice staff, coffees were big and hot. Wife and kiddo split a breakfast bagel which was also hot and fresh. If you're avoiding the Buck of Stars like we are, highly recommended! Look at the photo that I have submitted for this green salad! I am extremely impressed. That is the best and over-the-top looking green salad I've ever seen.
Just moved to Long Beach and I am pleased to say I have found a really great hidden treasure. I work virtual a lot so I need a place that is quiet, comfy, and has great coffee. I'm talking huge areas to work, outlets easily accessible, big comfortable chairs not tiny metal stools like most places here, and really FRIENDLY staff which is a rare find here! They have indoor and outdoor seating and a great menu. Something for everyone so if you are looking for your next low key, relaxing cafe this place is it.
Don't let the cheap furniture and sparse decor fool you. The food is remarkably good. The sandwiches really are special and flavorful. They make their bread in the store, and everything is prepared with TLC. Prices are a little more than you might pay for fast food but you don't mind because you are eating a quality product. They certainly could charge more if they adopted a classier image, but that's the trade-off. Try it out for lunch one afternoon. You won't be disappointed.
One of my wife's and I favorite Long Beach coffee shops. Nice and cozy, nice staff, good options. Normally we only have coffee here but it's always good. Favorite here is enjoying a good game of chess towards the back or the comfy couches. Please don't expect Starbucks service because this is more for people who want to sit down and enjoy some coffee, and relax. Love it, don't change
