My family member brought a heavy duty lift chair from Royal Furniture Trussville, Alabama, the chair broke after 2 weeks. He brought the extended warranty with the chair. Royal Furniture sent someone out to take a look at the chair. Speaking with someone at Royal Furniture they say he didn't have a extended warranty. Customer service was no help. He's paying for a.chair he can't used. The service guy tried to explained the issue with several people at the store, but they wasn't listening to him. My.family member is paying for a chair he cannot used. I will not recommend Royal Furniture to anyone. Disappointed with the customer service.
Spend over $6K cash in this store and can't seem to get the furniture I ordered. Delivery folks have been out to my house 3 times with 3 different things. 1st shipment was so damaged I am surprised it made it out of the warehouse. 2nd delivery only brought 1 box spring. 3rd delivery brought 2 footboard like didn't even try to validate the correct order Then they say we won't have anything until Wednesday. Horrible experience, I will never order another thing from here. It's 3 weeks of back and forth.

Cheap furniture, over priced, but like the color and design of what we bought. Bought 3 pieces, two dressers and a mirror. 1 dresser was delivered broken, the other was the wrong pieceChildren's version I called and emailed the manager as directed. I asked for it to be replaced and decided to take the $80 off the damaged one in order to keep my dresser since my schedule was entirely too busy to have to keep taking my clothing out and put on the floor until the new one came which was a week later. Fast forward 1 wk later......they delivered the right piece on the other one, but damaged by delivery guys. I called the manager again and told Matthew this was getting to be a bit pathetic... I wanted some money back as since I could have just brought a trailer up there and loaded it ourselves 3 weeks prior and would never have to deal with this. He told me he would get it to his store first and then send it out after being inspected. Fast forward another week on the day he said he would deliver....nothing, waited all day. So I called and they didnt even have me on the schedule! Spoke with Matthew again, this time asking to speak with the district managerwho never called, ever they got me on the schedule and finally delivered it. My husband went back up there and got some money back. Never again. Dont waste your time.

Furniture is junk and extended warranty is worthless !Purchased a Ashley sectional sofa with and extended warranty. 2 weeks after getting it our first guest in our new house our guest sat down on couch and board broke in the seat. I had to personally take that section back to store and get swapped out. Shortly after factory 1 yr warranty ran out 2 of our recliners bottoms cushions started breaking apart so called Royal and they referred me to the extended warranty company to file a claim. They denied the claim saying it was a manufacturer defect and they didn’t cover that. Called Royal to speak to Store Mgr they wasn’t going to help but would give me a prorated amount of my money back on the extended warranty. Just bad business!!
All the furniture I received from Royal was broken in some way. They had to make multiple trips out there to replace their furniture. The experience was not pleasant. The store manager was not easy to work with. We eventually got all our issues resolved, but it was a major headache and we had to return furniture and continue to demand a refund
Do not purchase from this location. I purchased my furniture two years ago and have had a terrible experience from start to finish. I ordered a bedroom suite, couch, and ottoman. I was told upon purchase, that one of my items was on back order and may be delivered late. However, when I scheduled delivery, I was told that all of my items were ready and would be delivered. On the day of delivery, I tracked the items and was under the impression all items were on the truck. When the delivery people arrived, all they had was my bedroom suite. When I asked where my other items were, they had no clue. I contacted the store, and they had no information to offer. Long story short, I had to have 3 separate deliveries, each time under the impression that all items would be on one truck. On the second delivery, when my ottoman was not on the truck, they offered me to come to the store and pick it up myself. I called the store manager to complain since I missed work 3 times awaiting delivery; he was not sympathetic AT ALL. I requested a return of my delivery fee, and he denied it. I had to manage this all the way up to corporate to get a refund. I got an extended warranty on my items. Every claim I have filed has been denied. My couch is literally tearing apart at the seams inside and out and the warrant company won’t cover it, which I misled to believe they would upon purchase. My pillows for my couch also started tearing up after 9 months. Overall, terrible customer service and subpar product. I will add that my bedroom suite has held up pretty nicely, and the delivery people were always very nice and as helpful as they could be. Would not recommend this company UPDATE: I emailed customer service two months ago as instructed in the response from RF. I never heard anything back from them. Update: I still have not heard from them. I suspect they send a generic response to all negative reviews and never had an intention on remedying the situation.
Beautiful dining table +4 chairs. Building was easy and feel the wood is very strong for years of enjoyment. Yes, I will shop at Royal Furniture again... next will be to increase the number of chairs for guests.
This is the most horrible experience I’ve ever had ! EVER. I ordered a bedroom suite from these people , the presentation and conversation went well with making the sale. Once the sale was made , it’s like everything went ghost . I later found out , that they didn’t have my dresser in stock . After I paid my deposit and gave all the needed documents to Steve , my salesperson , they Continued to Call saying they don’t have information, which I gave a month ago. So I gave it to them again. I spoke with a manager to get my order transferred and it was suppose to be here by now according to him . No one can find information on my order . Not to mention there was a lady being extremely rude to me when I called one day . She told me how she can’t help me because she don’t have the time but she was apart of the management team . I was calling to ask about something regarding my order and she didn’t want to talk to me at all. My sales person , Steve , caught an attitude when I was inquiring about the out of stock dresser. I wouldn’t buy another thing from them . I wish I wouldn’t have to talk to them now but I really want what I paid for and let it be over with . Matthew , Teresa, and Dave has been of great help but I feel like I’ve been given the run around and there’s been no communication at all. If there’s a problem with what’s going on I expect for someone to call me , but they haven’t so it shouldn’t be a problem. Also if you call any of the main numbers , no one answers !
