A little about Royal Produce and its history:
Royal Produce is a small, local, family business out of Royal City, Washington; owned by proud owners, Santos and Zenaida Guadarrama.
Seeking a brighter future for their children, at only 19 and 17 years old, young Santos and Zenaida decided to traveled to the United States in search of the American dream. Shortly after arriving, Santos began working for Ike Parker, owner of Parker Farms. Along with teaching Santos how to manage a farm, and run a business, Ike also introduced Santos to different farmers markets in the area.
A few years later, ready to retire, Ike sold the business to Santos; leading to the start of Royal Produce.
For the past 15+ years, the Guadarrama family has been a part of the Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market and Moses Lake Farmers Market; where they have sold the produce grown on their ten acre farm. Although they’ve enjoyed their time with the farmers market, Royal Produce is very excited and grateful to have gotten the opportunity to be a part of the Pybus Market experience and expand their business; as well as be able to provide more for their customers. In addition to fresh local vegetables, you have been receiving throughout the past, they plan on also providing you with tropical fruits and different types of Salsas. Nonetheless, Royal Produce mission remains the same, as they continue to keep customers satisfied by providing great quality, fresh produce, at an affordable price.
A little about the family:
Santos and Zenaida have seven kids. Yes. Seven. Three boys, and four girls. Somehow, they still manage to think they’re a small family…. All seven kids help out on the farm, and with the business in one way or another. Including baby Grace!:)
In order from oldest to youngest: Nefty, 22 years old; Josh, 20 years old; Stefhany, 19 years old; Jacky, 16 years old; Jonny, 13 years old; Benji, 9 years old; and our newest addition: Grace, 1 year old.
