My page is a comprehensive collection of my paintings,which are done in several mediums. There will also be shots of "work in progress" as I prepare for teaching classes.
I started painting in 2007 with the encouragement and direction of a friend who was a lifelong artist. Taking oil painting for 2 years from a retired teacher, Jack Jordan and then joining the 3 local art associations has been the basis of art education for me. I've taken many classes and workshops offered through these associations. For me art is an extension of every day life, capturing moments in time that I want to keep forever in the forefront of my mind.

Fifteen years ago I began with oil, but have added watercolor, acrylic and mixed media as well. I believe that creating both representational and abstract art brings the beauty of the world around us closer so that we can enjoy them every day.My need to create is strong, and I enjoy experimenting with many mediums.
