We come together as God's people, to worship Him by paying homage to Him and responding to His love in praise through the study of the Holy Scriptures, song, communal meals, giving and dance.
- Promote God through Sharing -
We present the message of salvation in a Jewish context for the objective of Jewish and Gentile salvation in the community.
- Prepare God's People -
Through discipleship classes and the ongoing study of God's Word we prepare individuals (believers) to be adequately equipped for every good work.
- Provide Ministry Opportunities -
Through discipleship training, each individual will be encouraged to utilize his or her specific talent in ministry. Opportunities for involvement will enhance each person's walk with God.
- Provide a Culturally Sensitive Atmosphere -
As a Messianic Synagogue we believe in providing a place of worship that would be conducive to the promotion of Jewish and Gentile salvation, in the presentation of the message of the Bible from its Jewish roots.
-Administering the Ordinances of the Body of Messiah -
We administer the rights of passage and ordinances from the Mosaic covenant as well as the two ordinances from the Newer Covenant, which are Messianic Immersion and Messiah’s Supper in His Name. These ordinances will be administered to the local congregation by the Congregational Leaders, Deacons and Deaconesses.
- Support Mission Efforts -
We will strongly emphasize our need for involvement in local and world-wide missions through praying for, giving to and going to the mission field.
- Chavurah Networks (Small Groups) -
Weekly small groups are essential to the development and growth of individuals. We stand committed to establishing small groups for the purpose of equipping individual believers to live by God’s standards.
- Reproduction of Messianic Synagogues -
We believe in reproducing congregations by means of planting new congregations from A Light To The Nations Messianic Ministries.
We believe the Body of Messiah (the Church) comprises of anyone who has believed, whether Jew or Gentile, throughout all history. It is a separate entity from the nation of Israel. The local assembly or congregation is a group of believers who associate by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, who have similar vision and values. They are committed to Messiah’s teachings, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word, and seek to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Although the local assembly is run by men, it operates under the Lordship of Yeshua the Messiah.
