The Rub-a-Dub-Dog Bathhouse and Spa is centrally located in the Downtown Homewood area of Birmingham, Alabama. We offer grooming and bathing services for dogs by appointment only in a cage-free environment. Your dog receives one-on-one attention from one of our experienced groomers.
In addition to our regular hours, we are now offering VIP grooming services, grooming provided after hours by one of our four groomers in order to accommodate a client’s needs or schedule, subject to groomer availability. If a groomer is asked to come in early or stay late on a day when they are already working, a surcharge equivalent to time and a half pay will be added to the price of the grooming. For example, if your regular charge would be $50, you will be charged $75. If a groomer comes in on day we are closed or when they are not regularly scheduled to work, a surcharge equivalent to double time pay will be added to the price of the grooming. So in our example above, a $50 service would be billed at $100. On holidays and during peak holiday seasons, double time will always apply. Services must be pre-paid in advance and no refunds will be provided for no-shows or last minute cancellation. As always, gratuities are optional and at your discretion on top of grooming charges.
