I started my career in travel at one of the world’s largest international motor coach tour companies in August of 2003. I knew almost from the beginning I wanted to be a travel agent. My first trainer told our group she lived by one very simple rule, "Treat every client as though they are a very close loving relative." - Not so simple ALL the time, but easy enough standards to live by. I LOVE to travel and I do live vicariously through all these experiences. Not many travel agents have experienced working on the wholesaler side. This is definitely one of my best strengths as your travel advocate if wrinkles pop up I am here to iron them out for you!
I have had the pleasure of visiting amazing places some people think they will only dream about. I have been specializing in luxury travel for most of my career, but as a wife and mother of 3 I know how to plan a trip on a tight budget and can include added value you won’t get by booking yourself. Free upgrades are not just a myth!
Most recently I have visited French Polynesia (including the islands of Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea & Huahine) as well as Australia. I have also been to Spain, Italy, England, France & the Netherlands. As a travel professional I have sent clients to every continent including a group to Antarctica! I spent my youth camping with my family, traveling around the U.S. in the family car to national parks and have driven to approximately 21 states. Europe and Hawaii are two of the most popular destination requests I get. I am also a cruise expert with over 10 cruise lines! I am a destination specialist for Australia, Tahiti, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, the Caribbean, Ireland, Greece and the Baltics.
My greatest area of expertise is airline tickets and hotel accommodations. I have studied and do specialize in Honeymoons, Multigenerational and single travelers with an emphasis on FIT packages. I am also a Last Minute - Travel Agent DIVA! I am not sure why, but I seem to be a magnet for last minute bookings and have done some of the craziest FIT itineraries. The most intensive being a trip to Scandinavia & Russia for 28 days with only 35 days of planning before the trip started. Anyone who knows how complicated Russian visas are will appreciate what a miracle this was to pull off!!!
