S. Del Rucker, who founded Ruckers Mortuary over a half-century ago, had as his guiding philosophy a desire to be of service to members of his community in their time of need. That philosophy still guides the Rucker Mortuary staff at each location. Our slogan is: "Preserving the Past, Protecting the Present & Preparing the future."
Each of our facilities offers a complete range of services in beautifully decorated, serene environment. Professionally trained and licensed staff members are available and ready to provide sensitive, caring service, and strives to exceed the expectations of each and every family in a special & unique way. Our communities are greatly diverse in religious beliefs, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds. Our staff fully appreciates and acknowledge these differences, and our training includes heartfelt understanding and respect for the special needs of all whom we serve.
We are proud that our staff is an integral part of our communities and are actively involved in its progress. We are: volunteers, coaches, and members of churches, fraternal organizations, civic groups and local Chambers of Commerce. Mr. Rucker is past president and former treasurer of California Funeral Directors Association. He also was member of the National Funeral Directors Association.
