I felt like this shop was very quick and transparent and I would recommend.Services: General repairs & maintenance
We tried Rudolph’s Auto but was very disappointed. We asked for an estimate before service was started and was quoted by phone, after they examined the car that they estimated the worst case scenario $700. Needless to say we were shocked, when they gave us a bill for $1158. with the parts marked up over 30% over MSRP. If you don’t want to be ripped off stay clear of this garage. Very bad practice to quote one price and never call a second time to let us know it was not correct and was to be that much more. We had no choice, but pay the bill. Never again for them! I guess they don’t believe in good honest business practice of what an estimate is or customer satisfaction.Services: Vehicle Inspection
Today, I had the A/C on my antique Pontiac evacuated and re-charged. I have extensive automotive experience myself, so I can appreciate excellent work when I encounter it. First, Chris could not have been nicer, in fact, ALL the folks who work there are courteous and friendly. The shop is neat, clean and extensive - much bigger than it looks! Chris took me right in , on time for my appointment, and had the job done in under an hour. And a very reasonable price, too. These are real "Car Guys" They totally get it, that is, they understand about cars from hands-on experience, not just following the manual. This was my first time at Rudolph, but it won't be my last . The place is a true gem, and I recommend it very highly! Their professionalism, courtesy and expertise make it a winner! My only regret is that there are only 5 stars allowed in the review ratings! Give them a try - you will be very pleased!
Had a remote starter installed. The installation was perfect. They showed us how to fully use it when picking up the vehicle and to top it off we dropped our vehicle off a day early since we would be be around the next morning and they ended up getting it installed a day in advance! What more could you ask for? Nice honest service. Would HIGHLY recommend.
These guys were awesome just as the reviews had said. They installed my muffler and make my truck sound great. The work was done really well and has worked great, No issues or problems. They even had me come inspect the welds which was important to me. I'll recommend and will be coming back. Thanks!
The gas prices are good, it's a very busy place. I tried to make an appointment for a oil change. They were booked about 2 weeks out.
Very impressed new customer! It was easy to get an appointment and they were very friendly. They fixed the brakes on my Toyota Rav 4 quickly and it cost less than I expected. Found my new go to local shop.
I just needed an inspection and was a first-time customer, so I brought in a coupon that I found in the local newspaper for a free inspection. Turns out, only the state inspection is free and you still have to pay $57 for the emissions inspection. The coupon doesn't specify this and only says "free inspection" which is very misleading. I made an appointment for my inspection days in advance. I arrive 5 minutes early with my 1 year old toddler in tow and sit in the waiting room. The employees were super friendly and changed the channel to a kids show for us. I notice a police officer telling the manger maybe the owner? that he needed his car done asap so he could get back to the station. Police officer never made it to the waiting room, so not sure where he ended up. From the waiting room, I could see the police car being worked on, but wasn't able to see my car. I assumed it was somewhere out of sight. Somewhere in the ballpark of 30-45 minutes later, the police car leaves and my car goes in the spot where the police car was!! AKA - I had an appointment police guy clearly didn't and somehow I came in second place. My car was finally done after I had been there for 1.5 hours with a toddler who luckily was very good for the most part. Nothing was wrong with my car - it passed the inspection just fine. I usually don't make an appointment for an inspection and it's always taken around 30 minutes - never longer than an hour. Not a great first impression and while they might be honest mechanics per other reviews, I wasn't feeling the love. If I can help it, I won't be back.
Decent waiting area while car was inspected. PA Emissions Test is ripoff racket but that is not Rudolph s fault. Their service was efficient and clean.
I've known the Rudolph's for years and years. They do great work and their prices are reasonable. They even often have one of our local Northern Tier Police Cars sitting either awaiting service or finished, so it's clear even the county likes having their vehicles cared for by Rudolph's. What's nice too is that they still have a gas pump that provides alcohol-free gasoline! My old motorcycles like that as well!
