Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Service was amazing from the time we walked in the door. They let us try some of the food out before we made our decisions. I had the jalapeno cheddar sausage, beans, banana pudding, and corn on the cob. The jalapeno cheddar sausage was really good. The corn on the cob was good but you really can't mess that up. The banana pudding was delicious. The beans I couldn't get with. They just weren't a flavor I'm used to.

I can't say enough good things about Rudy's. We ate here twice during our two week stay in the area. On the first trip, they allowed us to sample a few meats before purchasing our meals. I got the brisket sandwich, creamed corn and beans. Yum! On the second trip I got the smoked potato with brisket and the cobbler. Both were delicious and I have never seen a potato that big. Even the toughest critic in the group said everything he got was amazing, especially the ribs. The banana pudding, brownies and chocolate pudding all got good ratings from the group, too.

Service was great here! I was a first timer and they explained how it all worked to me. I got the brisket sandwich and the meat was perfect. Two options of BBQ Sause and both had great flavor. The chocolate pudding was also so delicious!Food: 5/5

Really good, reasonably priced BBQ that has amazing and friendly service!! They were truly so good to us. Although, a few slices of bread is more like a loaf if you’re from the UK haha, so be warned when they offer you some free wonderbread!Food: 4/5

I have to say I was VERY disappointed today. Went to get breakfast tacos. Nothing unusual. Everyone polite and greeted us like usual order our food-girl seemed new as she didn't have a pen to mark the bag and I had to repeat my order a couple times bacon, bean, cheese-she kept trying to add egg no biggie. She was polite. The food this time around was disappointing. There was hardly anything in my taco and I didn't have much to start with. Very disappointed with the food today. This was a place I would come to a lot, but not sure after this.

I love visiting real Texan Barbecue. They're meats are great, the atmosphere is family friendly, and the service is always refreshing. Vegetarian options: Yes, but with limited options Dietary restrictions: Just ask Parking: Plenty Kid-friendliness: Definitely Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

They are still in covid mode. Barbecue packets. This is not California. They only sell by pound. You can not get combo plates. Go visit Johnny s off of 35. You guys can learn a lesson or two on Texas Barbecue. Brisket was super dry. My last visit.Food: 2/5

Picked up 1 1/2 pounds of ribs. Half the ribs were incredibly DRY. Did not like the dry ones as they almost choked us when eating. Cream Corn and potato salad was great. The Port Tenderloin was too spicy for our liking. However was very juicy.. Potatoes were great.... Large and happy with them. Very disappointed for almost $100.000 I expected ribs not to be dry..... and tenderloin not to be so spicy... Parking: Busy.

Discovered Rudy's in Austin and was so glad to find out there's one in Killeen! Moist brisket is a must and the green chile soup is perfect for the recent cold weather!Food: 4/5

Everything you would expect when experiencing Texas Barbeque!! Clean and fun picnic atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming customer service. Outstanding barbeque. The moist brisket was superb. The regular and jalapeño sausage were both fantastic and flavourful. Loved the potato salad and creamed corn!! Wonderful time!! Would highly recommend!!
