Are used to shop at Rue 21 all the time but moved away so I stopped. Today I came back to visit and made a special trip and it was well worth it. The clothing styles have changed and I didn’t really know what would look good on me and how to accessorize but Ashley was so helpful and giving me recommendations and making me feel special and like a hot millennial that doesn’t know what’s in style anymore. The other two girls who helped check me out, Ashlyn and Bree, we’re also super sweet and helpful. You could tell this team gets along really well and they definetly know what they’re doing and they know what is in style and what kind of recommendations to make for each individual personality and style of their customers. Had a really fantastic experience overall. I will definitely be making a trip back when I’m in the area again.
when i came to this location last night i had a horrible experience. the girl named hailey was very detailed about her own personal life and i felt very uncomfortable and overall unsatisfied with my experience.
Didn't care for this store. Customer service was terrible. Was looking for same pair of jeans in a different size. Staff that was merchandising didn't want to be bothered with helping so he just wrote me off when asked for help. He said, "They did not have another size anywhere and we could go check another store." Anyway, I found the same jeans in the right size on the opposite side of the display he was working on. Also, let the line get super long before he would take a break and then only helped one person with their purchases before returning to his task. Oh and also Rue 21 not allowing try ons is inconvenient and unnecessary. Not hard to come up with a plan to sanitize so the dressing rooms so they are available during the pandemic. Very very poor customer service.
I've been shopping at Rue21 for probably 10 years. I love the clothes and perfumes, and the sales are great, and employees are friendly. BUT Yesterday I went in to exchange some sweaters I bought the week before. I had the receipt but didn't have the tags still attached and was pretty sure they wouldn't give me my money back, but should issue store credit. The woman at the counter looked at them and said "They feel warm. Were you wearing them?" I asked if she meant right before I came to the store or? She said yes. I let her know that no, I did not change out of both sweaters right before I walked in the store. The she said she'd refund the money as a one time courtesy. I thanked her and asked her to check the balance on an old Rue21 gift card. She checked it and said "Oh it looks like you HAVE had store credit before." what does that have to do with the refund? I started to explain to her why I had store credit on the card and she turned her back to me and started talking to another employee. I was planning on shopping, but after looking around I was too angry to buy any clothes. I guess I'm thankful for her rudeness, I spend too much in that store anyway. But it makes me a bit sad - Rue21 has always had friendly employees, great deals, and it's always been fun to shop there. But after being treated like a lower life form I really don't recommend the store nor will I patronize it again.
I love how this place has plus size!! It’s so hard to find cute modern day clothing for being a bigger girl. So it’s super nice being able to buy cute, affordable clothes. Also the workers are super sweet! Shout out to the girl w/ silver sparkly eyeshadow ;
Cute clothes, nice staff. I went with my 10 year old granddaughter. She found some really cute clothes in a size S. Grandma found something in the plus size.
My daughter went in and exchanged some pants and I didn't go in because I was sick. She handed me the receipt when she got back in the car and said she exchanged them for a different pair. Well she didn't like them so a couple days later today I pull out the receipt to take them back and notice she should've gotten $15.32 back the first exchange. I asked her and she said they didn't give her any money. So I go into the store, explain the situation to the manager and at first she said she remembered the till being over that exact amount. Then came back and said "I don't have any variances on that day" so I asked her if she could talk to the girl that's on the receipt and ask about the refund and if she remembers anything. She completely ignored me! She was so rude to me after that. Just real short and had a huge attitude. I mean I know it's only $15 but its MY $15! I definitely learned my lesson to always look at the receipt but she seriously could've cared less about the situation... Horrible customer service! $15.32 lesson learned! Ugh!
Yeah I bought like 3 things, didn’t get 50% off for anything at all.
Had a great shopping experience! Sales associates were very helpful and professional. Great sales and deals on clearance! Will definitely be returning!
While in the store I overheard what seemed to be the manager rudely speaking to an employee. While shopping the customers should never hear what issues are going on within the business and it is extremly unprofessional. I shop here alot and will be taking my rue business to a different location.
