Ruf Acres Market will concentrate on stocking foods that are ‘ready to cook’ as opposed to ‘ready to eat’ with the emphasis on healthy foods that taste good and sell well so that products can be stocked to sell quickly – the aim is to keep the investment in stock low and focus on faster moving goods. Food items will include organic or natural local, seasonal fresh produce, honeys, natural/organic cooking ingredients, and a large variety of rice, grains, beans and spices. Pre-packaged single-serving treats and drinks will also be sold.
