Our list of adoptable dogs can be found on ruffrehab.petfinder.com and Adoptapet.com. We ask that you fill out an adoption application prior to visiting us. Our Adoption Process includes: an adoption application, adoption contract, and background check. As a courtesy and for safety measures, we microchip our dogs upon adoption. Each new owner is held responsible to register their adopted dog microchip online. Potential adopters can expect to take their animal home in 1-2 days upon application acceptance. As paramount for our rescue we are proud to be a part of the New Jersey Low Cost Spay and Neuter program.
Our Mission Statement
At Ruff Rehab Inc, we rescue dogs and cats from high kill shelters and abusive situations. Our goal at Ruff Rehab Inc, is to reduce the plight of abandoned, sick, injured or neglected animals in New Jersey and other states as needed. We offer refuge whenever possible. We promote and require spay and neutering as a means of controlling the overwhelming overpopulation pet epidemic. We strive to increase education regarding spay and neutering of animals in order to eliminate kill shelters across America.
