Rugged Grounds SLC

One of the most delightful of coffee spaces SLC has to offer. Such character, such personality, I am in love with this coffee shop. A piano holds center stage along with varied seating options and lots of plants and glass and wood and natural light. An absolutely good cuppa to top it of makes this Cafe a winner. I am a huge fan of shops run by family entrepreneurs. They have a vibe that is personal and warm. Do not miss this.

Unassuming store front with a unique and fun interior, complete with piano and chess board. Chill, relaxed vibe. Owners know their coffee and the coffee is good. Recommend the cold brew.

I stumbled across this place walking back to my hotel. It's a bit hidden, but what a great little coffee shop. Quality coffee and tea options, homemade almond milk for the non dairy lovers, and a few small bites on the menu. Avocado toast, grapefruit halves, and pastries. I love the decor and the customer service was amazing. My barista was very personable.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. Small, beautiful, aesthetic, delicious coffee, and everyone is so nice in the space. With that said it's really hard for my friends to find parking,l. But with the Trax so close, it's not hard at all to meet up here. And I'd know, I drag all my friends to this coffee shop because it is just simply adorable. The bathroom setup is a little weird... but for such a well curated space, it's rugged aesthetic, and it's friendly baristas, its hard not to be absolutely in love with this coffee shop, especially when you need to stop in and grab some coffee brewed or beans. Oh, and my friends rave about the tea and toast.

Beautiful interior, very relaxing and unique. The coffee was not good, unfortunately. It tasted like hot milky water as if the shot were not pouring correctly. Also, I could see the top of the coffee through the very minimal foam. A good latte is going to have thick foam. To be fair, a few people came and left while we we inside, and they seemed to enjoy their coffee very much. 2/2 stars for the vibe of Rugged Grounds. 0/3 stars for the lattes we recieved.

Out favorite coffee shop in SLC! Incredible ambiance mossy wood wall, old school drafting chairs, good music, laid back and homey atmosphere and the best mocha I've had outside of my home town coffee shop, Cafe Moto. Will definitely recommend this place and come back when we're in town.

One of my favorite local coffee shops serving local goods. They have both a Salt Lake and Provo location. My go-to is an iced caramel latte but they also have a few specialty drinks too. Staff at both locations are always super friendly!

This is a cute little coffee shop, if you want a quiet place to meet and chat. I have had their drip about a dozen times, and it is consistently good, and has always been hot. Their Americano was also good, and I enjoyed their golden milk latte, which is a bit like a chai with a different spice blend.

I love how low key this place is. The atmosphere is very laid back. We were served by Elizabeth and she was absolutely wonderful. The business is still very small however that’s part of what makes it so interesting. Lastly the coffee was great, definitely worth the time to actually make a review.
