The staff were pleasant and very nice, but the dental area was filthy. Also, they filled and capped some right side teeth that didn't need it. They're also too tall, so I can't fully bite down with my front or left side teeth, and I can't get floss in between them. They're still agonizing 5 years later. She also took my $2000.00 dental insurance limit. I talked to multiple other dentists who told me that it shouldn't have cost more than $200 to do what she did and that the teeth she capped are irreparable and need to be pulled.
Went in to have cavities filled and they never suctioned mouth out or anything. Had to rinse mouth out for 15 minutes afterwards to get excess material out. Still had some breaking off within 24 hours. Now almost 2 weeks later every single filling she put in has fallen out. Insurance charged over $600 my out of pocket $150, going to have to see another dentist to fix problems she caused. Mouth is very sensitive now, was not having any problems before from cavities. Will never go back to her, worst dentist I have ever seen. She should have her license pulled, also tips that they use for drilling some of them looked like they were rusted.
Horrible & Painful!! I am new to area and was glad she evening hours. NEVER AGAIN!!! I went in for a simple cleaning and even that hurt horribly. She ran things throuh my insurance for approval, that I never even knew about. I met Dr. Ruiz's tech, but never her. She talked to me via her staff. It was the stuff a nightmare is made of.
This place is a scam to get your money. I have very good insurance with a 10% copay. After the nice Hygienist examined my teeth, I was advised that I have advanced periodontal disease, and my treatment would be $1130, and my portion would be $340. After the 45 minute cleaning, I paid the $340 and was told I would have to come back for the Dentist to examine my teeth, because my insurance wouldn't cover a same day exam. Today I found that the bill submitted to my insurance was for $918, and my out of pocket should have been no more than $91.80. And the Dentist was required to do the exam that day. Do not fall into this Dentist's trap as I unfortunately did!!!
First visit I had she determined I needed a whole list of procedures done immediately, I had them done and was unimpressed by the look and the incredible amount of pain I was in. Her solutions were either I do nothing or I have even more expensive surgerys. A second opinion from another dentist told me that what she did had been unessicary. She sure got a lot of money from my insurance company and I've had complications and pain ever since.
Awful! I went in for a routine proceedure filling and have suffered for it! I have had just about everything one can have done to their teeth and this was by far the worst experience ever. After many months, my teeth still hurt, even though I was assured the pain and sensitivity was only temporary. The service was not professional either. I had to sit in my car and clean out my mouth with a bottle of water and napkin just to get the extra material out. In my opinion, that's something the dentist/assistant should do. They did not even offer to suction out my mouth after the proceedure. I am currently searching for a different dentist to see if they can undo what Dr. Ruiz did. I highly caution anyone who is thinking about going here.
I got a tooth pulled and had continuous pain and tried to tell Dr Riggs that it was hurting well she looked at it and said it was fine. Its now 1:20am and about to go to the hospital for the severe pain. She needs to give patients more time and to listen. I will be looking for a new dentist. What's sad is i have been going to her and her dad for 7 whole years.
02/07/2017 my crown of one year and 3 months fell out I went to my new dentis the crown had turned black the crown I payed for was supposed to be porcelain. Now since it fell out it had broke due to the cheep crown she used was porcelain over metal cause my tooth to brake . I did save my tooth but it cost me another 1200.00 bucks I . will not go back they said my insurance wouldn't pay for crowns or a parcel unless they pull one of my teeth . The parcel came back like baby teeth I sent them back then they came back they shoved them in my mouth said you have to take them wouldn't do nothing about them and there not long enough you can't see them when you smile plus there shorter on one side than the other.
My family recently moved to Lawrenceburg. We had some family come visit. Our 5 year old kneed my brother which moved a tooth. He needed it fixed ASAP as my brother was leaving the next day and wouldn't be back home for another week, he couldn't wait. I called around to some dentiat that came recommended. None in which could help and basically had the "your out of luck" attitude. I called Dr. Ruiz's office taking another stab at it. Not only was the front desk person pleasant and sympathic but they got my brother in immediatly. They were able to fix his tooth. While Dr. Ruiz was not the doctor who worked on my brother. My brother and myself of' course were extremely pleased with thier service, care, and hospitality. Thank you SO much for everything. You have earned my families business as we become apart of the Lawrenceburg community and find physicians to take care of our well-being. Thank you!!!
Staff wonderful took in a person who had never been there, very little wait and within 20 minutes my pain was GONE!!!! Thank you doctor Ruiz you and your staff have a friend for life and leave me one satisfied customer. Thank you.
