I recently made a last minute appointment at Rumors salon after my regular hairdresser became unavailable. I was assigned to the next available hairstylist. The price I paid for a cut and blow dry was $95, whereas the online quote stated $90, which was disappointing  What disappointed me further was i felt extremely rushed. The entire process, from start to finish, took only 35 minutes. When I visit my regular hairdresser, it usually takes at least an hour and a half for a wash, cut, blow dry, and style, and they charge only $70. Comparing these experiences, I can only give this salon two stars.  There was one aspect of the service that I did enjoy, and that was the thorough hair washing and conditioning with a nice short massage. It was a pleasant experience. However, when it came to cutting my hair, the stylist took only about three minutes, and the blow drying was done sloppily in just 10 minutes. There was little to no conversation throughout, and I found the stylist to be somewhat rough while handling my hair during the blow drying process.  While the haircut itself is not terrible and will do for now, it falls short of my expectations for a $95 service. I was hoping for a more personalized customer service experience and attention to detail.

I came to this salon due to the great reviews and I was really looking forward to a great hair turn out & experience and unfortunately got the complete opposite.  I don’t really like to leave negative reviews because I understand sometimes are just a miss but this happened back to back !  Went to a stylist that was new there name Jessica & asked for some highlight lifts to brown . I told her my entire hair color history which was all professional dye only and showed her a photo of the color I was trying to reach she said okay no problem . Long story short mid doing my hair she had someone else come in and started doing her hair . I was told we would need to lift and tone my hair but after that second client got there she completely rushed my hair and skipped the toning and gave me a half done drying .  Once I left the salon my hair was Orange Red ! I called immediately and asked for this to be resolved & they said to come in the next day . I come in and min fixing my hair she gets another client again and starts going back and forth . I get this may be a norm in this space but again half a** my hair for the second time and also Again left me without my hair styled .  I went to the front and asked for my hair to be complete . Ended up paying $260 for some half done highlights and then they changed me on top $70 to style my hair lol  I paid & tipped them still cause I don’t mind paying for any service , just do your job correctly & don’t waste my time with half done work :

I've been going here for about 4 years and have had a great experience each time! It's bright, clean and has a very upbeat vibe with very friendly staff and hair stylists. I usually let my hair grow out for a while before cutting a lot of and each time I've done it, I've left feeling confident with such a drastic change thanks to the skills and positive affirmations from the stylists! Price is a little high compared to other places I've been to for just a hair cut, but the quality is excellent!

Came to get my hair done with my friend and Tatiana did such a good job!  I love my hair and how it turned out!  My friend made us appointments a month ago. Definitely recommend

Greg did an OUTSTANDING job!!! I came into my appointment 30 minutes late because of a scheduling issue, and was told that i’d change hairdressers from Lily i think to Greg. I was a bit nervous because i have lots of anxiety when it comes to my hair, but I sat down with him and his laid back personality and chill vibe helped me relax! I had dark brown box dye and a couple brassy bleached chunky highlights I did myself never again haha and told him i wanted to go blonde. I knew that wasn’t possible and he was able to take me to a warm bronde full highlights with light blonde from where my hair was bleached before. I loved that he took the time to care about keeping my curls healthy and opted for full highlights instead of the more damaging option I wanted at first. This man took me with absolutely no notice AND stayed 2 hours AFTER the shop closed when everyone left for the day just to finish my hair. Greg was absolutely wonderful and I had an amazing experience with him. So easy to talk to and VERY talented at his job. He got my hair lifted lighter than I could imagine was possible and it’s still so healthy and beautiful. I have been here 3x. 1st 2x Arianna was awesome! Less than a week ago, I saw Molly, and although she was very nice, this is how my hair is after a basic highlight. She did use a ton of foils, which I thought would be great! But the rinsing and shampooing was quite different than normal. Kept leaving and coming back. Head massage was not much of one and products were very cold. Today, the pictures show the damage. Breaking off everywhere! Should have waited til I was back home in MN!  I'm just sad.

Jessica is great. Really listens to you. And asks questions. There are two locations close proximity, so be careful when you’re booking appts.

This review is on behalf of Molly the Stylist. I saw Molly on a last minute notice last Tuesday. I've never been to a hair stylist before let alone a proper salon. I decided around 10 months ago to grow my hair out and it grew all out at the same length.  About 4 months ago I started researching places to get my first "shaping" cut to continue growing out my hair but I was nervous about sitting down in the wrong chair and having my hair idea ruined.  Insert Molly here. I came into the salon and with my limited vocabulary conveyed to Molly what was my ideal hair cut and I wanted something mature and as a young professional and showed her photos of the idea I had in my head. I told her I've rejected so many barbers looking to use clippers to 'taper' or 'fade' my hair and that's not what I wanted.  She told me she exclusively works with scissors only and then she told me to trust her and told me things about layering, texturizing, lightening the weight of the hair and that I actually have two different hair times on my temple and sideburns. She even showed and applied some product in my hair to bring out the natural curls in my hair. I came out with the biggest smile on my face because my hair looked phenomenal. My fiancé absolutely loved my haircut. Molly has to be the best stylist I've come across because of the consulting session she started with and the explanation of her modern techniques. I tried to find the owner of the salon that day to let her know of Molly's amazing work but she was too busy so if the owner ends up reading this you need to hire more people and stylists just like Molly because she's a 10/10. To all the men out there looking for a phenomenal stylist, ask for Molly. She's now the only person allowed to work on my hair you.  -Ryan

Ariana is awesome! She knew exactly how to cut, shape & make great suggestions on styling & caring for my fine, curly hair. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends & family!
