First off, it is stunning in person!  Runway Cafe is aviation-themed from the decor down to its menu.  Pilot-friendly, kid-friendly, everyone-friendly type of atmosphere.  And, it has a wonderful view of the nearby Greenville Downtown Airport  runway so you can watch the planes takeoff while enjoying your meal.  I got the Sante Fe Bacon Ranch Burger.  This is one of the menu items that Chef Robert Irvine created especially for Runway Cafe.  It has bacon, spicy ranch, fried banana pepper omg!!!   , and cheese on a buttered brioche bun.  Insanely delicious and packs so much flavor!!  And, it’s super juicy!  I loved everything about this burger.   Whether you’re an aviation-enthusiast, a mom looking for somewhere to take your kids, or just a foodie wanting to try something that you saw on Food Network, definitely make plans to visit Runway Cafe.  It’s a great experience all around.

Went for lunch around 12pm this was July 18, 2023 we had four adults and a 1 year old with us, the woman who worked as the hostess was super rude and not friendly at all, she almost tried charging us a 20% gratuity even though us two and our two friends with their daughter ordered separately. You could tell she was flustered but all of a sudden when we were getting ready to leave she started being nice and accommodating. It’s been years since eating here and I came for dinner, but the atmosphere and service was way better back then.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. The scenery is amazing because you can see planes land and take off.  Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Burgers are available  Kid-friendliness: There is a park next door  Dietary restrictions: The have vegetarian burgers.

First time coming here and I must truly say, I had a blast!!! me and my daughter came to do something different and we truly enjoyed the good, the fries were really good,  and the burger was perfect, we will definitely be back. Enjoyed the bonus of watching the planes come and go.Food: 5/5

I had a lovely time, and the cheese burger/ fries were delicious.  It was called  the TOP GUN meal, very fitting  for the name  of the Cafe   our hostess was very friendly, thank you, DEBBIE, This is surely a place to go!!!. watching the plane's  fly out and having a great lunch was amazing. Wish I had taken pictures of my food! It's a great place to go and grab a bite while watching airplanes land and take off. Service is great and the food is excellent! The playground outside is wonderful for kids and kids at heart!Food: 5/5

My son and I decided to eat there for dinner since we were next door at mini golf.  I had fish with grits and it was delicious.  The lady, I believe the manager, was so nice and friendly.  One of the cooks came out of the back and gave us a slice of pie she made.  It was her grandmother’s recipe. The lady was so nice too.  Great folks!   The folks are so nice and welcoming.  We will defiantly come back soon.  Thank you for providing a great place to relax while enjoying some great food.  Thank you!

I like supporting local businesses and restaurants. The food is decent.  The service is awful.  They very obviously don't like kids.  Did I mention it was obvious they don't like kids?  The waitstaff is incredibly rude. It's too bad, because the food is good.  When you have a restaurant next to a park... you might consider not blatantly disliking children and the parents who bring said kids to your restaurant. I won't go there again.

Excellent cafe with good food and great staff. Clean and friendly. I attend a number of events here and it’s a great place for a meeting or event. I also just enjoy coming here, getting a burger and watching the kids play on the playground. Ten percent discount if you fly your plane in here.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes

The family and I came to try this gem out. It was neat being beside the airport. The food was “ok”. My son and I got the Top Gun Burger. It was good, but seemed like it was pre-made unless they can cook and get the food out in 5 mins. The fries were pretty much frozen fries like we get at the grocery store. Fresh cut would be better with the unique theme they have. We do not have young kids but the waitress or managers, whoever she was, was nitpicking other parents about their kids do’s and don’t s. Seems they don’t really care for all the kids in the restaurant.. there is a nice playground in front of it, so kids will always be present.
