We had a baseball tournament here last weekend, and the ball diamonds were really nice! They were well groomed, the grassy areas were level, weedless, and evenly mowed so the boys could run easily. The dugouts were decent. It looked like there used to be canopies or some sort of cover between the diamonds and bleachers, but there wasn't any today. One of the teams we played hit a lot of balls into the bleachers, and people in the crowd caught some of them, and some balls actually went into the other ball fields. The bleachers and grounds around them were clean, and there were several large garbage containers with a decent size hole cut into their center, making it easy to dispose of our trash. The ball fields were near two schools, there was a skateboard park and kids playground behind the furthest school. There were plenty of really old, beautiful Austrian pine type trees by the playground and skateboard areas, so the ground was thick with pine needles and pine cones. The little kids had a lot of fun playing there. Our only real complaint was that the building that housed the bathrooms was still closed. We had to find convenience stores to use their bathrooms. We understand that it's been cold, and most parks haven't opened their water lines yet since it's still early in the season. But that's the only reason this park gets a 4 star rating instead of 5. We missed a lot of the game taking our kids to find a bathroom.
We have watched many ball games at this park. There are some good-sized trees for shade and plenty of grass to sit on while watching the games. There is a lot of parking to accommodate people. The fields appear to be well maintained.
I like this baseball park it's nice but I like the older one gear up on that baseball park but it's a nice baseball park and I've been here numerous times to watch baseball games
This park is an awesome asset to SF community but it is too good -the star the city has so much going on with tournaments and adult softball leagues you can never go and play ball with your kids without getting kicked off.
Nice baseball park, so we'll maintained
Beautiful field and location. Would have been a five star if the snack bar would have been open during the baseball tournament.
Love this ballpark! Been coming here for years and it's always well kept. I'm coaching mustang and they fields are already in great shape!
Love this place! Very clean, lots of fields to accommodate many sports simultaneously and the snack bar has TERRIFIC french fries.
Great concessions, covered park for kids, batting cages, lots of shade. This is a great place to watch baseball!
