I used to come here all the time and get lunch take out when my office was in the same area. I remember getting food to go and being able to share it with my kid. Not this time. The food was good but not for the price. Almost $9 for a small Caesar. And $20 for the chicken pesto pasta. My total was just over $30. Online menu is not the menu they are serving. Prices and items are different.
The crust was great and had a nice char. The pizza was ok. It was a little too greasy for what I like. They did have a bunch of specialty pizzas to choose from. The big disappointment was they had a gas over and not coal. It could have been an old coal fire but was converted to gas.Food: 3/5
First time at RUSSO, Sarah was our waitress. Let me just say it was my first and it will be my last. ALL of our pizzas were burnt. Meatballs were flavorless and soft like cat food, and the garlic knots were burnt. We alerted staff, but of course they knew what the food looked it. They cooked it! We were told to call the following day. There was absolutely nothing they could do about it. How about remake the pizza that you cooked and burnt. If we were of another race, the outcome would have been different. Spoke with a young man with glasses and he informed us they do not issue refunds. It is sad to spend money at an establishment and they have no decency to make it right. Please do not eat here or waste your money. UPDATE*** I called and spoke with the owner who informed me they cook their pizza well doneburnt on the bottom. You have to ask for it to be cooked medium. How would I know that lol. He gave no indication that he was willing to make the issue right. He said we have won all kinds of awards and everyone loves us. Not sure what that has to do with my complaint but okay. My review stands as is. I do not recommend eating here. Really sad that we live in a society that does not care about their customers. $120.00 for burnt pizza. We definitely could have ordered from Pizza Hut and had a better experience.
First off, just an FYI that if you are a Not For Profit they don't accept Tax Exempt Forms so you will have to pay sales tax even if you are exempt. My daughter's school group came here after volunteering at an agency nearby. We had made a reservation for our group with the manager, Michael, a month in advance. When I called the day before to confirm they had no record of our reservation. Sofia was able to take care of us though - she was very sweet and had everything set up when we arrived. Food was pretty good and kids enjoyed. Then things went downhill a bit. We had placed the order a few hours before we arrived since it was a bigger group. We had one person who has an allergy so were told she could order a single slice. After she waited for her food for a while we were informed that they couldn't make a single slice and she would have to order a whole pizza. Wish they would have figured that out hours before since one kid didn't really need a whole pizza, but okay I guess. Then when we got the bill we were double charged - for both the slice and the pizza. But unfortunately in the hustle of the big group I didn't notice until after my credit card had been run. They said no problem, call next day and manager would take care of it. After calling multiple times only to be told manager was out I finally was told that the manager had quit, but the owner would take care of it. The next day the waitress called and that the owner said there was nothing they could do. Because they would have to void the transaction and ring it up again which would be a pain. So next time I came in let them know and they would take $9 off my bill with the 20% included gratuity and sales tax that we actually shouldn't have paid it was more like $11, but whatever. I told them that there's not much my school told do with a $9 verbal credit so to forget it. So between all that and the fact that they don't do tax exemptions I have told my school to take this place off their list. Just one more FYI - the family size salads are $39.95 which seems kind of high the price was not listed on the menu and my fault for not asking, just thought I would let others know.
I've been here a few times... I keep returning to see if they'll redeem themselves and it has yet to happen. Today was my last straw. Today, I ordered a slice of pizza, Hawaiian style. Simple enough, right? I'm afraid not, the pizza was burnt. This happened last time also, I think they have their oven set too high. The Canadian bacon was dry and not enjoyable in the least bit. There was hardly any cheese on my slice. I had to tear into the pieces that actually had some cheese on it. In the end I didn't get a lot. I had a few bites before I was left with bread and sauce only. Here's the part that really has me really turned off... my stomach has been hurting like crazy since I ate the pizza. I've run to the bathroom one too many times in the last hour. I feel horrible. The lady at the front desk wasn't customer friendly, I walked in and she didn't say anything, looked my way, looked me up and down and that was it. The restaurant was empty. I can see why now. I will not be returning and I will no longer recommend it to anyone.
Excellent atmosphere, management and staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and made very quickly considering how great it was. Lots of choices for food and drinks as well. Prices are pretty great considering the quality of the food and the restaurant's atmosphere. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday night, for those worried about a packed dining experience or wait.
New York Village pizza is the best! Having said that, I think all of their pizzas are great. Their lasagna and pasta dishes are really good, and those garlic truffle knots are addictive. Nice people, good service, friendly atmosphere. You won't be disappointed. Kid-friendliness: My grandkids love this place.
I have no words... This is the greatest pizza I've ever eaten. The food was absolutely amazing. We go back there every time we drive to Dallas. Put this on your list to try.Food: 5/5
Excellent food, fast, friendly service, clean, comfortable, amazing! Checks all the boxes!
The wine was amazing. But that's where my enjoyment ended. Items in the menu were not available and the waitress was very rude about it. I end up paying $6 for a ceasar salad and had a fine time with my husband. He was not that impressed with his spicy chicken Alfredo. I would come back if I was looking for a relaxing place to have a drink with friends but I think I'll skip the entrees.
