Rustic Love was started by Ashley in the summer of 2013. She was tired of spending her days in this short little life that we have not doing something that she truly loved. She purchased her first home in March of 2013 and furnished the entire home on a tight budget, shopping only at thrift stores, resale shops, garage sales, and hole in the wall antique stores. She would take the inexpensive items she found and give them a whole new life to fit her rustic, shabby chic style. She did the same with her wedding in October of 2011, on a very tight budget, making all of the ceremony and reception decor herself, as well as all of the bouquets, boutonnieres, and favors.
She was always getting such great feedback from her friends and family on her finds and creative budget friendly decorating, that people began to ask her for her help! She has done total room makeovers on tight budgets, custom wedding items (such as unity candles, center pieces, bouquets/boutonnieres, and other reception decor), and has sold items that she has given a new life to since her college days. She has an art minor and has been crafting since as long as she can remember. This...all of this...every bit of this, was exactly what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. And Rustic Love was born.
Rustic Love is home decor, furniture, and antiques for the everyday family. The ones working hard day in and out, that just want to return to a beautiful, cozy home at the end of the day.
