Rusty Lantern Market

They've got a pretty decent selection of stuff when you're on the road. Decent fresh food, clean bathrooms with fresh flowers in them a nice touch, let's be honest, wicked friendly staff, and s properly stocked store. Nothing to complain about. Worth going and paying an extra 15¢ for gas if you've got to use their other facilities in my opinion.

I went in to the deli area and wanted a chicken salad Dagwood. They did not have chicken salad. A worker was bent over at a heinous angle picture a nurse in Silent Hill teaching a new worker something on paper for five minutes before anyone asked me anything. The entire area back behind the counter was a wreck. An absolute wreck. Food out, containers out, plastic bags, dirty as hell. I opted for a chicken Caesar salad wrap with croutons. I am an alien from Neptune for wanting croutons. They would disappear out back for three minutes and come out and ask me about my order, then disappear again. It took about half of my hour lunch break to get that effing wrap from these people. I am 100% sure it had cooties but it tasted really good so this review does not have one star.

I was refused a cigarette sale because my child didn't have ID!!! My own kid cannot be in the store with me while I purchase cigarettes?! I guess the sales clerk Cameron assumed I was buying smokes for my child which I find rude as well!! I spend hundreds of dollars a week at this store on Civic Center Drive in Augusta Maine and will not be any longer!!

I understand that even finding help is hard right now, but your 3rd shift help is terrible. From standing in an empty store waiting to check out for 8 minutes because the help is out back to not being able to buy gas because every pump has error codes and even asking if I want my change??? There's a 24/7 store right across the street that is always busier...and now I know why. I'll just go there from now on.

The first time I walked into the Rusty Lantern I know I had discovered a new stopping spot for my road trips that pass through the capital city! I was amazed to find a 24 hour store with not only decent coffee but actually excellent coffee with the selection from Coffee By Design! Not a huge beer selection but there are some really good Maine craft beers in their coolers. And a good selection of anything else you need as you pass through. The store to include the restrooms is always clean and welcoming.

Ordered a large bacon pizza. It was incredibly sloppily made. All of the bacon and cheese were on one side of the pizza. Some of the slices were stuck to the box because the dough was improperly stretched and folded over onto itself on the bottom. The slices were all different sizes. All in all, it's obvious that whoever made this pizza was never trained on how to make a pizza. Don't waste your money here. Absolute waste of time.

I walked in to place an order and was asked to place my order ahead of time since it was 6 sandwiches …. Um what would the difference be really if I called so you can mess my order up since the reason I come in is because when I called the order in it was messed up so I’d like my order to be correct from the start but next time maybe I’ll just take my business elsewhere where they will be kind and have clean restrooms all while the lady who wants to complain hides

Basically stopped in just for ice tea but grabbed some chicken wings from Rusty Lantern. They were actually delicious!

Gas 40 cents higher then every where else cigarettes 3 dollars more then every where else 930 at night guy was rude unprofessional & racist wish I would of got his name but just wanted to get out of there asap
