In July Dr. Shanti performed oral surgery to remove a tumor from my mouth. From beginning to present, he and his staff have been friendly, professional, and very helpful. Dr. Shanti, Dr. Wadkar, Dr. Derenzi, Crystala, and the entire staff are great. I recommend Rutgers Dental to anyone.
My son's double job surgery was planned in this center with Dr Adachi. He and his staff were amazing. Our family appreciate their perfect care forever. God bless all of them. Milad's family
I consistently get billed the wrong amounts here and have to argue with them. The ladies at the front give the worst customer service in response to the simplest questions, or act like I'm purposely just looking to avoid paying when I dispute a bill. Today, for example, when the lady at the front told me I owe a certain amount and I asked "why do I owe that amount," she quite literally responded: "what do you mean why?" Then, after a long attempt to figure out what amount I actually owe, she gave me two different amounts. The orthodontist and assistants, however, are quite good.
I was given a balance on my child's braces but when I went to pay I was told that the balance was incorrect and that it was double what they had given me however they still expected me to clear the "double" balance before my child could be given his retainers that day. Since I didn't have what they were asking for, they KEPT the retainers. When I finally got the balance, the retainers couldn't fit and had to get "moulds" done again- a process my child feared due to discomforts. The orthodontist told me they did me a favor for making the moulds, even though I was given a wrong balance which I was prepared to pay in full. I have been treated poorly that I will never go back or recommend anyone to go there. They did not see their wrong doing or apologized instead they made me look like I was trying to avoid making payments. Last appointment took 2 hours just to fit my child with retainers which took less than 10 minutes but we had to wait 2 hours. I would never treat anyone like they treated me and my child.
I'd give them 0 if I could. They put you on hold for 20 minutes minimum if u can even get through! They don't tell you that They place you in a cue so ur just sitting there waiting. Can't get in touch with the office at all it's ridiculous. 0 customer service. Last time I took my daughter to her appointment they also never notified the back staff we were there for the apppoubtment and I had to go back up to the window 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment to ask them to check on the status of us being seen. This place is always short staff for some reason they can't get their front staff under control. Last person I spoke to on phone was Yeaenia and she laughed at me and claimed I was yelling when all I had was a tone in my voice because of the frustration of them not doing their job no the fruatration to even just get on the phone with them
I've been going here for 6 years. Very professional staffing and very fast service, once you get an appointment. No complaints. Best service I can recall getting in the past 50 years, and the free parking garage parking just two blocks away is a plus.
This dental facility is the worst. Don’t go here unless you want to pay to get ur jaw/smile ruined. They’re not affiliated with Rutgers. Took both of bottom wisdom teeth out, and now my bite and jaw has gotten worst. Also, Dr. Adache is the worst doctor as he is extremely rude and has no manners. I ended up having an infection on the left side, where the wisdom tooth was taken out. Highly suggest to go elsewhere.
Very unprofessional ! I waited a month for my appointment, they called to confirm it, then the next day they canceled it. Very disappointing UPDATE: I had my consultation and officially made an appointment for my tooth extraction. I called the office to ask questions about the procedure and guess what? THEY CANCELLED AGAIN ! Claiming they were “just going to call me” because the oral surgeon was going to be busy that day AGAIN. 2 days before my appointment. Absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional. They do not care about their patients and the front desk was inept with handling conflict. I requested my records and went to a new dentist that same day. They scheduled me with no problem. If you’re looking for respect and basically decency, I suggest you go elsewhere.
The staff said the cost was only the co-pay about $50 and a few months later we got a bill for about thousand dollar. We call them and they said don't worry about it, they haven't submit it to the insurance company yet. Then the next month we got the same bill and they said the same thing. They kept on sending the bill and we kept on calling for over a year. My insurance was going to change so I reached out to my Workplace Insurance Rep. to ask for how it will affect me when they haven't settle the claim. My Rep said that this place messed up they put a claim on the wrong insurance; Health Insurance instead of the dental insurance and I will probable will have to pay for it. The staff there are so incompetent.
We have been trying to schedule an appointment for over a month for a follow-up for my son's braces. No one answers calls, voice-mail boxes are full so we cannot leave messages. Left message with after hours service but no one returns calls. No one answers to emails. Very frustrating and very unprofessional.
