Ruth's Chris Steak House - Madison / Middleton, WI

Excellent staff and service. The main server was competent, efficient, and professional. Table runners were timely and quick. Calamari starter was very tasty. My husband enjoyed his steak and I had the stuffed chicken breast. Both very good though it was tough to wait for it to cool down to enjoy. I got the cheesecake. While I generally prefer mine drier or more set, this was an interesting version that was less "set" but very good. The crust was delicious. I could not finish the loaded hash browns for dinner but they where very good reheated the next day.

This really is a 5-star restaurant! The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. The sides are portioned to feed two people easily. My walleye was cooked perfectly. My husband's steak was the best he's ever had. The waitress paired a beautiful wine for our meal. Ate as much as we could and boxed up the rest plus dessert to go. A must visit place for any special occasion.

We enjoyed live music while dining on the patio which was much quieter and great for hard of hearing. It happened to be perfect weather. We had multiple appetizers during happy hour which made for affordable and very delicious meals.

Yes fine dining indeed! The steak was seasoned well and cooked a perfect medium rare. The shrimps were equally delicious. Also loved the garlic mashed potatoes and the steamed brocolli.

Didn't know what I was walking into but kept on going. Food was good got plenty of fries which was surprising to the type of restaurant it was. A bit pricey but sometimes you just gotta do it and take in the experience. Maybe I'll do it again some other time since they are spread throughout the US.Food: 5/5

What a wonderful experience. We were out celebrating my Granddaughter's heart transplant. Such a throwback experience of a formal restaurant. She loved it all, as did we. Thank you so much.Food: 5/5

Great classy atmosphere. Friendly and attentive waitress. Lobster melted in my mouth. Steak cooked perfectly. Flavor was there just under salted but i can always add salt so no issue there. I felt like a million bucks dining here.Dine in: Yes

For the five star place that it is I was very disappointed the last time I ordered. There was alot of fat and grizzle on my steak. I ate there 3 times in 1 month first time was perfect the last time made me not want to come back.Food: 3/5

The entire experience was 5 stars. Kevin is responsible for the best evening we’ve had as a family in a while. The best drinks. I mean the best! The French 75 he made me, the Gin Smash, my fathers Manhattan. Top notch. 10 out of 10. He engaged the perfect amount. The musicians. The food. The overall experience!!!!!
