Today is my birthday and my daughter order a flower arrangement for me from this flower shop. My first impression was that it was a joke. It look like they used the cuttings left over dumped in the trash to do this arrangement. What a shame. My daughter was so upset and dissatisfied and me too. We will never order from this flower shop again.
I ordered flowers to be delivered at Slacks Funeral home for a co-worker who passed away. Imagine my surprise when my Flowers were not there ,even thou I received an email confirming their arrival. I called during the viewing and got the answering service who were no help and left a message. The next morning I called several times only to get another answering service till they transferred me to the store. I spoke to a Simone who after hearing what happened of course refunded my money but had no explanation as to where the flowers went. I asked for a manager to call me after they spoke to the driver and never got a Call back. They treated me like “oh well” here’s your money back. Who does that? Who is that cold hearted to not even care that flowers were not at the funeral home for a loved one. They demonstrated the poorest customer service I have ever seen. USE CAUTION WHEN ORDERING FLOWERS!! THEY DONT CARE IF THEY ARRIVE OR NOT. I’ll go back to using 1-800 Flowers. At least I know Fed X will deliver and I can track it on line. SHAME ON YOU RUTLANDS. YOU ARE NOT THE BEST IN BALTIMORE!!!
I wish I could give this place negative stars. They literally no-showed our funeral service flowers, so there was nothing in the funeral home. When we called to check on the status, they were incredibly rude and said the order was now cancelled. Please look elsewhere for a florist; there are tons in the area with much better reviews. We wish we had done more research!
I rarely leave a negative review as I know most companies are trying to make an honest living. However this company sent me the below flowers for my wife’s anniversary. The flowers were similar to ones that we get at Safeway for $14.99 except I paid $115. Some of the flowers not pictures were also dead. I called them and afforded them the opportunity to right a wrong but they wouldn’t budge. I would strongly recommend using a more honest company.
To start off I cannot even give this place less then 1 star. I rarely make reviews like this but I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT order from this flower shop, they will steal your money, and play games using poor customer service.
I placed a Get Well order on Friday and it was delivered a few hours later ON FRIDAY! Originally I went to another florist closer to me, however that business 1 wouldn't deliver until Monday and 2 oddly wasn't delivering to the hospital I neededBaltimore is full of hospitals!. So, Rutland Beard was the next closest florist. The prices were better, the selection was better, RB delivered the same day. Hands down the best choice. When I need a florist again, I will definitely choose Rutland Beard!
Flower received was NOT what I ordered. I understand the need to substitute flowers, containers, etc., but the substitution flowers were unacceptable, and looked like they'd fallen over in the delivery vehicle multiple times before they arrived.
Do not recommend. I ordered for a funeral flower and it was never delivered. When I tried to get a refund, no manager called me back to refund me. I emailed and called with no response. I was distracted and looking for a flower on the day my loved one was laid to rest instead of being fully focused and engaged in the service. I will never forget that feeling. This shop is insensitive and disregards its customers.
I recommend against this florist. I placed a custom order in advance, and it arrived a day late. The flowers were lovely, but visibly wilted, and they only partially followed my guidelines which is fine, but I would have expected to hear from them prior to delivering the order if they could not fulfill my request--I had even emailed them to follow-up after the order was placed. They offered no explanation for the delay, and I have yet to hear from them regarding my concerns. I received two delivery confirmations: one the night that the flower were not delivered, and once once they actually were the next day.
I had my wedding flowers and now anniversary flowers delivered from Rutland Beard and had a wonderful experience! Great people - met the head designer and his team!!
