Wow wow wow. I’m very very excited that I finally found a dentist that doesn’t give me anxiety. I chipped my front tooth on Friday , and called in and got an appointment to come in on Tuesday. So thankful for the quick appointments as I looked pretty ridiculous every time I opened my mouth ! Appointment was for 9 am and I was in the chair by 9:05. Dr Jeff came in and took a look and said no worries it will be a easy fix and Then he totally blew my mind. NO numbing of my mouth will be needed Let me just explain that part of my anxiety of going to the dentist is the numbing process it takes to usually work on teeth , I hate needles I don’t like the feeling of numbness in my mouth So yup Dr Jeff took a few X-rays and by 9:45 I was in my car driving to get my morning coffee !! It by far was the best dental experience of my life !! Dr Jeff was by far the best Dentist I have ever been too ,he was very pleasant and calm Was very informative and communicated throughout the entire visit Thank you thank you thank you
STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY from this place for many reasons! You will not get an appointment for any dental work for at least 2 months out! You’ll ask to be on a “waitlist” for openings and still they WON’T call you to let you know earlier openings as they promised they would. You’ll have to call to inquire about earlier openings to find out. The services are NOT handled within the same day, you’ll have to come back and forth for services. Never in my life did I have a routine visit and need to come back for services, everything has always been handled the same day professionally and proficiently. My prior office which is in PA, allotted time for proper planning and for situations where additional service MAYv need to be rendered such as a refill. Was running10 minutes late, called to inform, put on hold, was told I’d have to wait 30 minutes to be seen— of course I questioned how that worked and was met with you can reschedule a month out or wait the 30 minutes in the lobby because another patient is her. I asked if they double booked appointments because I do not understand how that required me to wait 30 minutes. I was informed that another patient is now back there. sounds to me they double book, which I inquired about Frustrated with this entire conversation, I asked for my files to be printed because that did not make sense to me that they do not overbook but because I am 10 minutes late for my allotted 1 hour appointment, I needed to wait 30 minutes in the waiting room to be seen. I’ll told the receptionist, I'm heading in, i'll wait the 30minutes, please have my file printed and I'll be going elsewhere in the future. I got to the office at 10:39a, no one at the front, stood there waiting and was handed my file and told have a good day! Now even more frustrated because we just had this conversation on the phone I said are you taking my copay? I was told, let me talk to the doctor if she'll still be able to see you. Oh now the narrative changes. The doctor comes to the glass I told her I am beyond frustrated and she signaled for me to come to the side and talk. I walk to the back to meet her and now she wants to act like she’s victim and I’m hostile. Of course the narrative changed. We went back and forth with what occurred vs what she told the receptionist to tell me vs what was told; several holes from what was told to me and what she shared— I ended up walking out and WON’T be coming back. Now I’m hostile and she likes to take her time. It would have never been 30 minutes maybe 15 if that– again not what was told to me; regardless I already knew that when I was on the phone! She took 10 minutes to play the game, playing like I am too upset and reschedule another month out so she can provide efficient care mind you I expected to be seen at 11a at this point, it was 1048a She was NEVER going to see me When I first went a few months ago, she did seem confident with my refill because it was near a refill I had as a young teen. I felt uneasy with this appointment based from that first time meeting her and should have stuck to my gut. Save yourself the trouble. I seen other people have had issues here too. I’ll be reporting my experience here to my insurance as well and escalate their poor customer service and communication. It appears this office is at capacity and cannot accommodate clients care at the rate they are receiving clients. The doctor went on to tell me how hard it is for her to see her primary and GYN as if her practice is justified. I can only go off my experiences with my prior office which is back in PA. I was able to successfully call my prior office and get an appointment next week to get a FULL services in ONE visit. Repeat X-rays to confirm this offices findings refill allegedly and the refill if needed! Beyond frustrated with this entire process but reminded me it’s worth my drive 1 hour back to PA to deal with who I have known for years—a professional who provides expert care, clear & concise communication and shares knowledge at every step!
I was VERY IMPRESSED by my first experience at Rutledge Dental! The office was beautiful and clean, and remarkably quiet and peaceful even in the middle of a busy day. The receptionist was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The dentist was TOP NOTCH- Dr. Jane performed my procedure quickly, painlessly and PERFECTLY! My tooth was broken and she was able to repair it right away and made me feel like nothing had ever happened. I will definitely be returning, even though it is quite a distance from my home, and will be referring all of my friends and family to this wonderful office.
Not often do I have experiences that I feel so compelled to share… I took a recommendation from a friend and could not be happier I did. Walking into Rutledge dental feels more like checking into a day spa than a dental appointment. The warm welcoming staff and immaculately clean space immediately puts all hesitations to ease. Dr. Rutledge and Dr. Choung are professional, knowledgeable and provide an unparalleled experience. My 7 year old son looks forward to his check ups here! Hands down the best dentists I’ve encountered.

My family and I have been receiving services from Rutledge Dental since they opened their doors and have always been so please with the service. Routinely, receiving dental services for one of my family of six. This morning my young adult son with special needs was turned away from his 9am appointment for being late at 910 am. I sat in the parking lot on a call while he checked himself in as he normally does. I was confused becsuse i knew he was on time and after going in to the office and asking what happened, I learned that the person at the front desk couldn't check him in when he entered because she was on the phone, so he was told by a second young lady who sits behind the counter that she would check him in which she did but at 910am , not when he entered the door. Because of the 10 min grace policy and the fact that another patient was already there he could not been seen despite my efforts. This experience is troubling on so many levels, double booking comes to mind if another patient was already there and we were scheduled for an hour. Hugely inconvenient to take off from work to reschedule and a utter lack of compassion for the customer.
I cracked a tooth and completely panicked. The team did x-rays and Dr Jeff was incredibly thorough in assessing my issue. He really made me feel at ease by answering all my concerns and questions before recommending a course of action to repair. Because they squeezed me in quickly, I was offered the option to schedule a future appointment or have Dr Jane repair my tooth that day. I opted to have it done with Dr Jane. She did a fantastic job, not only in the actual finished product, but just as importantly, making me feel at ease and explaining the process along the way like Dr Jeff did. Admittedly, I’ve had a slight fear of going to the dentist. I now realize, the less than great experiences I’ve had over the decades with other dentists were the root of my fear. It’s the actual dentist, not the process that is scary. I’m so glad I found Dr Jeff and Dr Jane who both are extremely good at what they do and so appreciative of how they and their entire team all treated me today. I am happy to see they are both young dentists so I won’t have to worry about them retiring on me too soon! Definitely a patient for life!
So happy!!! What a fantastic experience as new patients! This is a husband/wife team who came highly recommended by our kids orthodontist who we adore. The office is SUPER clean and inviting with high tech digital equipment. Everyone there was warm and friendly to us and more importantly, to our not easy to please children who really like them! We have been to many dentist and now have found the right office for our entire family. I've since recommended to a coworker and a family friend that have made the switch. Thank you!
From the front staff to Dr.Jane, they are completely caring. Was very reluctant of going to a dentist again from prior experiences. Dr Jane, Jen took great care of me various times, from cavities to a chip tooth. They did an amazing job, an amazing duo! Kara my hygienist does great work as well! Rutledge takes great care of me, close to 2 years now. Highly recommend their services for your dental needs!
I love Rutledge Dental. I've seen both the husband and wife and they are equally great. I hate dentist visits and they've made it pain free and less scary for me. The front office is super nice and friendly, which is a huge bonus. Also, the hygienist who took care of my 2 year old was the BEST! She knew exactly how to make my child comfortable and made it fun for her if you can believe. Wait time has been very fair, which is honestly why I switched dentists in the first place! The office is clean and modern. I am happy to call them my dentist and will always recommend them highly.
