At Rutter's #56, Customer Service is second to none. The Deli area, restroom facilities, dining area, and the cashier lines are clean beyond description. Why go anywhere else? Rutter's Store #56 would make the Good Housekeepers Seal-of-Approval, and would be the Top-Rated Convenience Store in all of South-Central PA. Special kudos to Store Management, who make a special effort to make your visit pleasant. Again I ask: "Why go anywhere else?"
Ordered hotdogs…they weren’t edible. They must have been on the grill for 10 hours. Hard as a rock, like hotdog jerky. Looked like an extremely old man’s unmentionable. There’s no way the employee didn’t notice it, he did and just decided to serve them to me anyway. Yuck ate the bun though, that was pretty good.
I believe they're trying hard to make Rutters a nice experience for customers every time. I had two delicious burgers made to order without a flaw. I only occasionally get a craving for burgers, and a BK is nearer to me, but I would go to Rutters just for a burger. Rutters #56 conveniently sells postage stamps individually, and I almost walked out without them after the burgers were ready. The cashier politely made sure I had them.
I’m sure it’s not specifically this store but this needs to be said. I love the coffee here but I don't like having my coffee all over me and my cup holder because the cups are cheaply made. The bottom of the cup slowly leaks and gets everywhere.
RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!!! I’m from Mexico and I never ate a burrito so delicious like here at Rutters. GIRLS , CONGRATULATIONS. You got my heart and my stomach too.
I order from the restaurant and the service was slow. There was 6-7 people in the kitchen. They didn’t even look like they knew what they were doing. I payed $3.99 for caramel frappe which it Had no caramel in it or on top of the whipped cream. This is the worst experience I had at a Rutters gas station. Do not recommend this Rutters
Horrible store and employees. I ordered food got home and realized they forgot something. After going back and tell them they proceed to tell me it was in the bag. After I told them it wasn’t they unwilling made me a replacement but when they opened the fryer basket guess what was in there. No apologies for their mistake which I was ok with until they didn’t give me any of the sauces that came with the chicken. I asked for the sauce and they told me again it was in the bag which it was not. With a very rude attitude the employee said he would get the sauce be he knows it was in there. I told them if they’re going to act like that I will be calling customer service and take my food. As I am walking out the kid working starts laughing and says what’s that going to do and the lady behind the counter says nothing. So at this point I turn around ask ask for a manager and she says is am the manager and you can leave. I said I will leave but I want to know your name and I want my receipt back. She would give me either. Then I go home and call in asking for the store manager’s name and how to get ahold of him and they tell me they can’t give me that information either. I will never go back to that store because of the horrible service all the employees in the kitchen have severe hygiene issues.
$2.29 for this regular fry is absolutely pathetic not worth the money at all first time ordering here and will be the last
This is a nice store. Clean, fully stocked, even have the creamer that my local rutters cannot seem to get anymore, chocolate/carm??? The employees are nice. Needs overnight trucker’s parking. Nice store tho
I've frequented this Rutter's since it opened for everything from gas to late night snacks and dairy products . Overall, staff is polite and food orders are accurate. The location is great, easy on and off from I-83. The Restaurant Manager is great at making recommendations for regulars when they add new items to their menu.
