RWJBarnabas Health Arena

Went here for a Cheerleading competition. The arena was so hot - about 88 degrees - that you couldn't even watch the competition. The staff said they can't regulate the heat as it's automatic. Does anyone think to turn the heat down when there will be thousands of people for a cheer competition?

Calling this place an arena is like calling my living room a theater. It’s a high school gym. Maybe stop at McDonalds and grab a steak dinner before arriving at this “Performing Arts Center” so you can get the full highbrow experience. I arrived first thing in the morning and there was trash everywhere. Really gross. The seats are just gym bleachers. Because it’s a gym. They sell the bottles of water that are $3.49 for a 35 pack at the supermarket. $3.00 each. Most of the reviews mention Covid shots so if that’s why you’re attending it seems you’ll really enjoy your time here. Otherwise it’s a gym in a high school.

It is a large building next to Toms River North High School. There is plenty of parking and there are handicapped parking spaces outside then entrance. They have sporting events, concerts and expos in this building. It is located near two major roadways as well as minutes from the Garden State Parkway.

Nicely organized, pleasant staff and volunteers happily moving us through the vaccine lines. Very short wait for covid vaccine shot#2. thank you. Great job

Nice facility but The bathrooms are so filthy, just disgusting. The handles walking up the bleachers are very loose and unstable.

Great place to see a concert. The sound was great, the seating was very good, the staff was very nice. It was a total pleasure

Took my 92 year old mom for her first dose & everyone was so helpful & organized! Lines moved very fast!

The concessions area is nice and big and the snacks were reasonably priced. The bathroom was kept clean and stocked. The bleachers need to be cleaned. They are actually dirty. I know it's where people walk but they also have to sit and put down their coats and pocketbooks, so because it was dirty, we had to take our bags and coats back to the car because we were uncomfortable holding the stuff in our laps for the 1st half of the game.

Was here for a color guard show. The building wasn't what I expected but still a great event.
