Ryder Truck Rental and Leasing

Very poorly maintained trucks. They are mostly freightliners,need I say more? The problem with them and Penske is they think 20 bucks an hour is good pay for a mechanic. Therefore they only have kids with minimal experience working on their fleet.And good luck with their breakdown service if and when the vehicle breaks down.

I’ve been coming here for 5 years because my company has a contract with them. They get the job done but I don’t recall a single easy experience. Not one. A lot of stringing along as well as integrity issues. Expect your truck to be there at least twice as long as they tell you. Also need to verify everything they tell you. Even if they tell you the truck is ready it still may not be accurate. They also make up excuses to get you off the phone. I’ve been told that they can’t work on the truck because they are waiting on a part when I made it a point to put eyes on the part the day before. I think they over worked but they just don’t manage that well. They’re overworked and developed a culture of bad service.

Great Place for Service Best Ryder Shop have ever been to had check engine light on stopped in diagnosed one box harness got part in morning Tractor ready in afternoon would love to go here all the time but home shop in Hartford wonder if I can get away with it !LOL Thanks you guys dealt with 3d shift

All around great service and employees! I come to Ryder Albany every night during the week between 7PM-9PM to refuel. Anything I need fixed is always done safely and correctly the first time. Fuel island is A+++ great service! Shout out to Delroy and Jermaine!

Albany's Service department is less than to be desired, we had are leased truck in several times for a fuel filter issue, they kept telling us that it was the fuel we were putting into it. The truck went into limp mode again on a trip to CT., went into the New Haven Ryder, they new exactly what the problem was and had it fixed in a couple of hours. to New Haven Ryder.

Reserve a truck, pick it up, then return it. Simple, good service, and reasonable pricing. We rent the liftgate trucks frequently and have never had one break down. They process you quickly and get you on your way.

Tony and Morgan are excellent customer service representatives and they always do their best to accommodate our weekly reservations.
