This gem has organic local charm. It’s tidy w/ a solid selection of West Indian i.e. Guyana, Trini, Jamaican finds. Halal meats, unique fresh produce, spices & seasonings…plus more. It’s worth checking out the attached restaurant too. Love it!

We ordered dal pouri, hot sauce, channa, and baigan choka. Baigan choka was out of the world! So authentic exactly as Indian cuisine style. Dal pouri was so good, dal stuffing was evenly spread. I would highly recommend this place.

Definitely a relaxed environment as soon as you walk in. Very good customer service with a smile. Food was prepared an ready quickly. Lunch Specials are great Parking spots are located in the front of the store. My 2nd time here an the food gets better each time. I will return sooner than later

I heard about this place from a Trini friend of mine and decided to check it out on my day off to see if they carried the items I needed to make pholourie a fried dough snack commonly eaten in the Caribbean. Located along Pembroke Rd. in Miramar; S & A Caribbean Market is a small business, part market/restaurant, that carries various Caribbean items such as snacks, vitamins, beverages, grocery and baking items, seasonings, canned goods; and many more at very reasonable prices from Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, etc. There's also a section where you can get meat by the pound. There was only one person running the market and he was very pleasant. When I told him about the items I was looking for, which was split pea flour, and tumeric powder, he was kind enough to show me where the items was located. I didn't get the chance to venture through the restaurant because I had less than an hour before the business closed, but my Trini friend told me they make good roti so I got to come back to try some. I will also return to purchase other island items.

Best west indian food in south Florida. This place is a gem and I'm glad I live close by. When I want good home cooking I go here. Roti, dahl pouri, and curry are the best but they have plenty more. You can't go wrong.

The owner is very friendly and her food is all made from scratch and very delicious. We've been shopping for freshly made food and West Indian groceries for about 20 years!

Doubles, chicken and duck roti. Reminds me of flatbush Brooklyn...I think it's better than Gloria's. Duck was for my wife. Excellent !!!!

This is a great place to shop if you're looking for quality service, hospitality, amazing products and great prices. I'll personally recommend S&A for your shopping needs. An all West Indian Grocery Store also restaurant.

They. Have. EVERYTHING! Here's my example: I just walked out with fresh calaloo, tamarind paste, fresh ginger, a big bottle of Mauby, a ton of Irish sea Moss, whole cloves, soursop juice, a bunch of different seasonings, vanilla extract, and a few other things I can't remember right now for less than $30. AND the customer service is awesome! I will definitely be back
