The S. Newton Cutler School in Somerville, MA began construction in 1911 and closed ~1989. This page is intended as an archive on info about the school. I attended 1st and 2nd grade at this school located on Powderhouse Blvd. near Curtis Street in 1968-1970, but have been unable to find much information or photos of the school. The West Somerville Neighborhood School now stands on the site of the Cutler School. The old Cutler school was either demolished or renovated, and the new school built sometime around 1995.
