This was the first time trying So Baltimore. The food could have been better prepared. The tempura shrimp was battered in a glob and deep fried, so they were all stuck together. The cheese steak quesadilla was also deep fried but not drained properly, so it was greasy. The fish and shrimp egg roll was pre-rolled so the "hots" could not be eliminated also greasy. The only burger options were either the Black Bean or Turkey Burger. All in all, the food wasn't bad, other than the egg rolls, just ill prepared.
Honestly this spot is a vibe, music is great, service is great, very enjoyable spot. On the other hand the food wasn’t good I had the brunch menu only. The chef didn’t know the difference between a fried hard egg and a scrambled hard egg which is sad cause that’s cooking 101. The Notorious was over cooked and only one of the biscuits had jam the other was just bland. The eggs were trash and tasted like water but I will definitely give this spot another try but I will never have brunch here again.
The wings are good but the fries are super oily. For food it’s decent buttt for drinks or service it’s horrendous! The ladies who work there are very unwelcoming unless you look like a drug dealer or a rappers baby mama . I went twice to see if i was just being mean but no both times i was treated as if my money wasn’t welcome there . They didn’t even greet me when i came in ! Upon my first visit , I tried to get the attention of the two bar tenders and they kept passing me up i believe it was because of my demographicnatural hair / dark skin women or maybe i didn’t smell like money to them. Very bad vibes for any one who isn’t hood ratchet . Would never go there again . Suck to be discriminated against at a place with my own people . Honestly , Makes me wonder if they are money laundering or something in the place ya know ! Parking: Terrible location . Dark location and has a lot of shady people lurking . Wheelchair accessibility: Not at all!
I went here on a Saturday night , when my cousin and I walked in we did receive a greeting . Not a very upbeat one .The bartender did help us find a seat . She pointed to the code for the food menu . She didn’t suggest anything or give any assistance . She was on her phone the entire time . Not much /any engagement . I had to ask her name because she didn’t tell us . I ordered the shrimp wrap with Fries . The fries were good . The wrap was like wet. This water dripping from it . No season on the food . She took about 30 minutes to check us out . I don’t think I would return . The music was okay .
Took my fiancé here for his birthday this past Sunday for brunch. Walked in wasn't greeted right away hostess was in her phone first red flag. We ordered two drinks off the menu the cups weren’t even filled half way but charged full price second red flag. Ordered the seafood and gravy biscuits and shrimp and grits. They had the nerve to service half portions for full price plus an 18% gratuity third red flag! My only regret is not speaking up when we were served literally half of everything we ordered. Still had to go somewhere else to eat after leaving. Ordered 4 items spent over $90 to be dissatisfied on someone’s birthday.
This place couldn't show me they didn't want to be in business any more than they did the day I went. I went with a group of 10. We were there at 12pm when they first opened. The waitress, wearing leggings, a bra top and a fanny pack showed us to our table. No greeting. Just her telling and stressing to only order from the Brunch menu in a very domineering tone. Never told us her name. She served us bottomless mimosas from a chipped leaky bucket which created a puddle on the table and floor. Told the waitress about it. No apologies. She walks away and brings a towel to wipe the table and walks off. We tell her about the puddle on the floor, she has an attitude. She walks off. A man came and cleaned it up wth a towel. The food is served on plastic plates and drinks in small plastic cups with lots of ice. I had shrimp and grits. My shrimp were not fully cooked. They were white on the outside and raw on the inside. I was able to switch to chicken and waffles. Blah. Chicken had no seasoning. Very tasteless. Regular thin waffle. Beware the Avocado Toast! Its a thin green watery substance on toast. I wish I took pictures. My bill came up to about $24.50. I gave a $100 bill. She came back with $70 in ones. She said its because we were the first ones the arrive and they didnt make money yet. Considering we were the first customers, the bathroom had no toilet paper. Do not recommend. Go anywhere else instead! I came to visit from New York. This was my last meal before I hit the highway. Extremely disappointed!
Excellent spot very accommodating! They don't carry michelob ultra but the bartenders were so kind enough to provide the next wee for me. They have karoke on Wednesday, the food was amazing I recommend the cool ranch wings! The vibe atmosphere was amazing! Very good time I will be back for sure!
I attended this place twice. My first experience was during brunch around 3pm. It was a great experience. The young lady Ajine I think that’s how you spell it lol was great. I had the chicken and waffles. It wasn’t crowded which I didn’t mind. The food was good. My only complaint about that is the plates. They have to be more sturdy. It was sliding and bending while I cut through my waffle. The second time I attend was on a weekend Friday, with my friend. We had a different server I forgot her name. We ordered the quesadillas which were bomb. I expected them to come with some sour cream or other sauce on the side. It didn’t. But they were good so it didn’t matter. My issue is, we weren’t given water or napkins while we decided on a meal I had to ask for both. our water didn’t arrive til after our meal and drinks were done which was odd. She must forgot I understood that because it was busy. We ordered drinks. I ordered two side cars over the course of dinner, one came with ice. The second one didn’t and was warm :. My friend ordered a man of the year , it came literally Half full the first one with no ice. Also to come half full in 6oz cups is crazy. The second one came full so there were inconsistencies with our drinks. I also didn’t like at the end of the bill which came to over $100.00 for four drinks well 3 since the other two were half full… and two orders of quesadillas…. 18% gratuity was added that split throughout the house. My thing is, where is that written did I over look it? Also, she stated that if I wanted to tip more to her I could. 18% gratuity it CRAZY for 2 people. I wish I could give a higher review but it was polar opposite my experience solo for brunch than with someone in the evening. I get an uptick in business can cause for more demand but there’s no excuse why our drinks were inconsistent being different each time.
The food was great! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the chicken cheese steak quesadilla taste just like a cheesesteak with the lettuce and all. The price point is fairly reasonable! No complaints.
Great place, friendly staff and owner. For lunch I had the Shrimp, they were phenomenal! Hands down 10 out of 10. Also sampled a Chopped Fish Egg Roll, it was awesome. Can’t wait to get back in the evening one night to have a few drinks. Good luck!
