Description

Voted best hot dog in Solano County for fifteen years in a row. Selected by the SF Chronicle as one of the 100 Best Bargain Bites in the Bay Area for 2010. Recognized as "Best Restaurant in Solano County 2013" by Local Happenings Magazine. At Sac's we serve good food fast, not fast food! In 2015 we opened our 2nd location in Napa at 1453 West Imola Ave. in the River Park Shopping Center and their store number is 707.258.8905.

Very nice ppl. This was the in and out of hot dogs. They kept it simple with the menu witch was good. Had the Cajun Dog with tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, mustard and a heavy hand of cheese.Food: 4/5
The best hotdogs in Vallejo, been going here since I was a kid with my best friend and her dad. Don’t forget to get a lemonade slushy. The Cheese dogs are fire. The chili cheese dogs are great too. I like to add celery salt to mine. It gives it a extra kick. One of Vallejo’s classic places to go. Lines be out the door because they are that Good! If you love a good hotdog than this is the place to go! Parking: This place is that good that is why it’s hard to find parking , but absolutely worth it. Kid-friendliness: This is one of my childhood staples. Kids love hotdogs .

Just had another delicious Sacs Tasty Cheese Dog! The owner Cindy stopped by our table and chatted. I thought that was so wonderful and inviting! We love this place. Best hot dogs anywhere around. Great prices too!
Growing up in Vallejo in the 70's/80's, there were 2 MAJOR joints to eat at...Bud's Burgers and Sac's Tasty Dogs. I'll get to Bud's next week. Arriving at 12:15pm, the line was well out the door, and once inside your senses go into overload as your eyes take in the stunning decor, and your nose the aromas of the promises to follow. For beginners...the wieners are huge and slow cooked in water, the buns are steamed to perfection. ALL are made to your satisfaction with freshly sliced/diced onions, sliced tomato, relish, and other toppings, mustard, mayo, and ketchup. I ordered the Basic Dog sliced onions & tomatoes, relish, and mustard and the Super Chili Cheese Dog both pictured. These are full length, piled high with ingredients. The cheese is freshly shredded cheddar, the chili made everyday. And since 1st opened in 1976, nothing has changed except the prices!! They also serve a Cheese Dog w/12oz of cheese, and a Cajun Dog with jalapeños. All can be had either ala cart, or with chips and drink. There IS a reason this establishment is consistently voted Best in County...visit once and you'll see why! Just come with a healthy appetite.
It’s simple classic, cool spot to eat at. Service is great! Their in house dessert cupcakes were smack! I liked the cheese dog. The wiener is slim but overall great tasting hot dog.Food: 5/5
If dogs with a snappy casing are to your liking, you will not be disappointed. Did I say they taste great, too? Oh yeah! The chili is no slouch either. Satisfying amount of meaty goodness. The atmosphere is of a small 50's ice cream shop. Always clean and staff are very friendly. Make sure you relieve yourself before you go, as there is no restroom. I could be wrong as I never asked nor had anyone else while I've been there.
I have been eating in sacs hot dogs. My entire life and I think I just ate there for my final time. Customer service has definitely went downhill, but they just ignored Elderly gentlemen, asking for a refill so they can continue their conversation. It was extremely pathetic.Food: 4/5
It was my first time going there following a friend’s suggestion. I was happy to have found this place. The customer service is remarkable. The girl that waited on me was excellent. The order was great. The food was excellent. I ordered an Original Tasty hotdog and a cheese hotdog. They could improve the packaging a little. Kudos! I’m glad I found no line there. I went there at 2:30 pm, maybe that’s why.
I have lived in Vallejo for 11 years and I never tried this Lil gem!!! Omg, these are fantastic hot dogs and the service is great too. A nice well oiled machine!Food: 5/5
