I think every airport in the world is the face of the country, a specially if at the airport of Capital. I want to tell you that Sacramento International airport is a very beautiful, great place where always clean and comfortable. There are 2 Terminals A and B. When you need to move to Terminal B, you need to use a specialized train that will bring you for 1 min. If you need to move from Terminal A to Terminal B, you will spend approximately 8 minutes. This airport has beautiful decorations in Terminal B as a very beautiful big red bunny looks like it jumping from ceiling to the floor it's a very beautiful sculpture. In terminal A also has amazing decorations as sculptures with lots of suitcases. I want to say this airport is a beautiful face of Capital of California. Love it .
Very friendly service. It was my first time flying out of this airport. The customer service employees were very friendly and patient. They took the time to show me how to self check in. Going through security was very easy they gave us simple directions that were easy to follow. Saw an old Raider football player! Sorry not sure what his name is.
The Sacramento airport is a mid sized international Airport. Easy to get around and find everything. They use a lot of natural light and seems like they did some updating somewhat recently because some areas are definitely refreshed from what I remember when I was here last in 2017. Surprising amount of food options for the size of the airport, which is good.
It's comfortable clean. I had great experience arriving at this airport. Maybe due to the hour but restrooms weren't that clean ar the rest of the airport was.
This trip was a quick business meeting in Sacramento. This airport is small in size but busy! The art in this airport is beautiful and strategically place. If you are flying out of Southwest, you will need to take a tram to the southwest terminals. The TSA line is seldom long. Great food, wine and gift shops. The staff are helpful at directing you to the correct area of the terminal.
Traveled through on business on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend landing in the morning and leaving after 5PM. I thought it would be a zoo but they were prepared to manage the increase in travelers. The airy expansive design and artwork installations are wonderful. My TSA experience was efficient and took about 15 to 20 mins total. Also, the terminal for Southwest is well designed with plenty of space to spread out and a bounty of food options.
Every worker was helpful and thoughtful. From last minute switches on flights to make sure we would still get to our destination on time -which sadly was a funeral in Tennessee- to inviting my son who it was his 1st time on a plane to meet the captains in the cockpit before take off:
Small but modern and nice looking airport. Check in for the night flight took seconds. Every chair in the waiting area by the gates has a charger. Clean restrooms, coffee shops, and cafes.
This airport is easy to navigate, terminal chairs have charging ports for your devices, bathrooms are nice and clean and various places to eat, shop and waste time while you wait for your flight. My most recent trip here was not the best, but the baggage claim layout saved my life!! My car rental did not go through, so I had to wait at the airport baggage claim for several hours. The sofas/waiting chairs were comfy enough to sleep on and I even found an umbrella to shade me from the blaring lights up above. I was able to close my eyes and get some sleep before the first bus of the day came to rescue me from the exhausting waiting game. Coming back and flying home was also a pleasant experience, and this TSA does not do the most like other airports do, so I was in and through in lighting time.
All around great airport. The bus runs frequently from the airport to the city center. The airport is very well designed and efficient. Only took 10 minutes to get from check in to our gate. Ample seating and many charging outlets. Highly recommend.
