Greetings and Welcome to Sacred Hoop Ministry.
We are tucked away in the Rocky Mountains west of Colorado Springs. Our primary focus is to share and teach various aspects of Shamanism from around the world. We do not refer to ourselves as Shamans, as we were not born into an Indigenous Culture, nor were we appointed the role of the Shaman by the elders of any tribe. Therefore we are “Shamanic Practitioners” whose purpose is to preserve the teachings and healing modalities of the Shamanic Culture, as well as the teachings of our Native American Fore Fathers and the Ascended Masters.
Our teachings are based on Spiritualism and not Religion, so they should not interfere with any religious or spiritual beliefs that you many have. Nearly all cultures and structured societies have indigenous roots that date back to Shamanism. Our ministry is open to all who hear the calling of Spirit in their hearts whether it be to heal, learn, or teach others.
Our teachings and healing sessions are about empowering you and allowing you to become fully present in your life once again. With your permission, we will teach you the ancient and proven methods of contacting your own personal compassionate and helping spirits who are here to guide and assist you on this earth walk. We also teach the power of word, the value of re-connecting with nature and the natural cycles of the universe, Medicine For The Earth and more.
We are “all” here to experience this time in history. Some of us are here to usher Mother Earth onto the next level of consciousness and the next classroom. Others are here to heal and just experience it all. You are here on this web page for a reason. Perhaps for a healing, perhaps for a teaching, perhaps out of curiosity, or perhaps you feel as if you have been called to “active duty” spiritually and do not know where to turn.
A Shamanic Healing Ceremony:
In Shamanism, we look at the "spiritual side of illness" or dis-ease. If there is a spiritual cause, or something going on with the situation, illness, pattern or behavior, that has a spiritual cause, the work we do will help. I find most issues do have a spiritual component. Sometimes the session will heal/cure it, and sometimes it helps by taking care of the spiritual part so you can focus on the mental/emotional aspects, and the physical cause. It is Body, Mind and Spirit, and we help with the spiritual part. Below is an email I send to people when they first inquire about a shamanic healing ceremony. Thanks for contacting us with your interest in having a Shamanic Healing Session. The Shamanic Session lasts around 2.5-3 hours and we ask $175.00 for the session. We charge by the session so time isn't an issues. We plan 2.5 hours and that gives us plenty of time. We do offer a sliding scale and take payments...and the session comes with a follow up, we will spend another 2 hours together to make sure you feel complete and got the healing you came for. The follow up takes place at least 2 weeks and up to 9 months after the healing ceremony.
We'll spend the first part of the session visiting with you, getting to know what's going on with you. What isn't working in your life, what hurts, what brings you to us for a ceremony? We want to make sure we are all comfortable with each other so you can relax during the healing ceremony. We will explain everything to you before hand so you know what is going on and can just relax into the work. My husband and I work together as a team. So you have 2 shamanic practitioners working with you at the same time.
The ceremony itself lasts around 45 minutes to one hour. Usually a session entails an extraction of spiritual intrusions, where we remove from you what is with you that is not yours. Then we usually do the soul retrieval and a power animal retrieval. I say "usually" as the helping spirits are the ones who lead the session and things can change the order around once you get here or set the apt. The soul retrieval brings back the dissociated parts of our essence we may have lost during trauma. The power animal retrieval brings you a spirit ally to work with, get to know and to give you comfort and strength in challenging times.
After the ceremony I will write down everything that occurred, we'll see how it resonates with you and do some processing. Then we'll make a copy of the notes so you can take them home with you. We want to make sure you are good and grounded before you leave.
After the session, and included in the $175, is a follow up with me, Roxanne. We'll spend another 2 hours together making sure the session feels complete. There are a couple other simple ceremonies we can do in the follow up. We usually meet for the follow up anytime after 2 weeks, and up to 9 months after the session. And that is only if you want to participate in the follow up.
You may also bring a support person or people with you if you'd like to bring a friend or two. We encourage this as it gives you a witness, someone else to talk to about the session afterwards....and someone else to drive you home if you are spacey!
