Safe Cat Foundation provides shelter and rescue for wild or abandoned shelter pets, and addresses the safety issues of domestic cats in local shelters.
Safe Cat Foundation was founded on the premise that all cats deserve to be saved. We do not use “standards” or “criteria” to determine if we will pull a cat from a shelter. We pull cats because they deserve to live, not because they are cute or young, but because they exist. Safe Cat Foundation will take the cats that other rescue groups pass on because they may determine these cats will not find a home or will take too long to be adopted or they have medical costs that would be prohibitive. We believe there is a home for every cat; we just need to give them a chance.

Safe Cat Foundation, a California based non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation, was formed to address the safety issues of domestic cats in our local animal shelters and in our society. We provide education and advocacy for various health and safety issues that affect cats in our home, wild or shelter.
