My daughters 13 and 6 have had a great experience with SafeSplash. We started last year with the summer camps and continued with weekly lessons since. We found all the instructors to be very patient with the girls and it has been fun watching them grow into confident swimmers.
Our kids learned how to swim at an advanced level thanks to SafeSplash. The teachers are great, and are not afraid to challenge the kids to do a little more. They are good at letting us know of any schedule or teacher changes. Very happy with them!
My son has been going for swimming class here in Safesplash renton landing before Covid and restarted after they reopen post Covid. He enjoys the pool time, hates to miss the classes. He learnt very good swimming skills- the pool is clean and the instructors are very friendly. He is looking forward to the classes every week. If you have a kiddo and want to try Safesplash - just go for it- highly recommended!!
My little brother has an enjoyable experience in swimming. However, when you canceled it after it has been billed , they offer you partial refund, which is the worst policy ever! I tried to call the customer service in the afternoon and they didn’t give me an immediate call back. Such a waste of money, didn’t even have the cancel option or credit card withdrawal.
Wow!! Totally wastage of money and time. I enrolled my 5 years old and we experienced this- 1. Water is so cold, my daughter used to shiver all the time. 2. They don’t respect your time, classes can be canceled anytime without any prior notice, you will know once you reach there. 3. 30 mins are not best utilized, they will keep 5/5+ kids in a group and couldn’t focus on any. 4. When you discuss feedback about how your kid is performing, what needs to be done etc, they are not interested providing feedback. Overall I had really bad experience and I will never recommend Safe Splash to anyone.
Absolutely the biggest waste of money I could imagine. Classes often cancelled last minute with next to no notice. When class wasn't cancelled there was never a trained instructor so basically you pay $45 per lesson for access to a pool for 30 minutes. Refunds are always refused in these situations so you rebook another session only for it to be cancelled as well..
SafeSplash has a predatory billing process wherein after you are registered they continue billing for each month and only offer a 50% refund if you try to cancel the billing after they've made that charge. At their very expensive prices and rather mediocre experience, I would expect better.
Stay away! once registered, they bill you every month, with no pre-notifications, no matter whether you plan to join the class next month or not. Once you found the hidden charge and try to cancel, only 50% refund is offered.
Terrible service. I agree one post this can't be even called swim school. They care about more your money than providing swim lessons. My kid missed last 3 lessons as the pool of LA fitness in Landing was in maintenance from 8/16 to 8/18. First, I didn't get any notification on 8/16. When I called customer service for refund on 8/16, they pretended they didn't know even after I said I went to LA fitness personally. On 8/18, I did receive notification from the swim site on cancellation and I needed to call customer service for refund. When I called customer service again, they said they were not aware of it. Worst service ever.
Safesplash will cancel classes and then instead of refunding your money they will give you a token for a make-up class that will probably not work with your schedule so have fun with that.
