The library is a vital link in our community, providing a cultural, educational, and economic value to all its residents. Many have visited our library from other areas and remarked what a wonderful facility it is, while others have stated the library influenced their decision to move to Safety Harbor.
The Foundation believes the library is the core of the community, offering programs, classes, and materials to all residents; children, adults and seniors. In an economic and financially challenging environment, our library serves an important role. Increases in circulation, programs, and attendance, along with visitors to the library reflect the value and importance of this community asset.
Budget cuts have been felt across business, social service organizations and educational institutions. The library provides many of the needed resources and staff helps to support gaps in these services, where feasible. Please continue to support the library and the Foundation as they strive to provide culture, community, and connection. It’s one of the best investments you can make because it serves everyone equally.
The Safety Harbor Public Library Foundation, a 501(3)(c) organization, was established to encourage private support to ensure the library continues to thrive. Membership, corporate and individual sponsorships, private trusts and private donations are created to help conduct and support the activities which benefit, enhance the quality of, carry out the purpose of, sustain, support, perpetuate and accumulate funds in perpetuity for educational, scientific, and charitable purposes for the Safety Harbor Public Library.
