Excellent produce section, nice deli and bakery items including cakes and donuts. Gluten free section too. Rotisserie chickens and wings to go. This small Safeway might fool you from the outside. There is almost everything you could possibly need here. Compact yet extremely well organized with plenty of staff to help you. The produce section was more organized than I have ever seen. There must be some good management here is all the employees seem to be engaged with what they were doing and aware of all the customers. The only odd thing I noticed was the locking bathroom... But, before I could ask for help and employee said "Need help opening it?" Also, right across the street from the historic Wigwam Motel.
First time at this Safeway while traveling through, everything was clean and everyone was so nice. Shout out to Peter C in the deli for a couple of delicious sandwiches!
They have the best deli food around. I love deli food, and I'm seldom disappointed with their selection. Always fresh, and the service throughout the entire store, is filled with professional and kind acting employees. I love going shopping here. I would recommend 1000%
Worst fulfilment department ever. Made a small order yesterday as I'm broken down an RV park and waiting for my RV to be fixed. First delivery came more than two hours late. Ordered strawberries bananas and tomatoes and other basic. Fruits came unedible. Took me an hour and a half just to get the delivery fee reimbursed. Thought I'd try him again today quite frankly out of desperation. Fresh vegetables came bruised, order chicken thighs and offered chicken breasts as a substitution.... That didn't even show up. The only good thing out of this is that GrubHub drivers that do their delivery are super nice and seemed like they value their job. I'll be eating fast food until my vehicle is fixed.
Good small town friendly local grocery. With a wide variety of items. Fresh Meat & Fresh produce, Pharmacy in store. Great bakery &deli.. Nice Alcohol section, good floral variation also. just need more check out lanes open most the time.
The bakery is awesome we ordered an anaversary cake and it was perfect. I can't say enough for the woman who made and decorated it..... just perfect.
Fairly fast shopping. The clerks are very friendly and helpful. The meat is fresh and the area is kept clean, which I appreciate! Almost done with a remodel. Not a large store. I was looking for rock salt and they do not have any. Prices are high here because they ard the only store in town
I've always loved this Safeway for their low prices and the deals but something needs to change about the food. Everything I get from there I have to check, because, it's usually outdated. Just the other day I bought two $10 packs of lunchables rushing to get home so I didn't check that expired the day I bought them. The bologna, same thing, along with a long list of others. I shouldn't have to worry about my family getting sick because of expired foods, this should be getting checked on a daily basis to assure customers aren't buying expired products.

I do shop Safeway. This one is about its location. I always stop here. It is on old Route 66! This store is busy, locals and tourists. But again it’s that Where it IS, is what I want to bring attention to. Across the Hwy Route 66 from Safeway is this great landmark.
