My Safeway store is the best. I hope it never closes. They are friendly, helpful and fun to see. They will help, if I can't find what I need. Someone will always help when I need a reaching hand. I use the electric cart, and there is som one to find one for me or help me. Thank you Safeway!
I needed some produce when I went in all the produce looks so fresh I needed some rolls Everything looked great in the bakery picked up a few items needed some dairy Went to check out I was unaware of the digital App I'm a senior and the cashier was very helpful a young man came to help me with the Digital app to put on my phone They were both so kind caring They explain everything and how to use the digital app Again I receive great service So helpful !!!thank you for having great cashier
I do not normally shop at Safeway however my Mom shopped there for many years and loved the Safeway brand. With the recent merger news of King Soopers and Albertsons which includes Safeway I decided to stop and give them a try at this location, 104th and Federal. Even though the prices are somewhat higher you can still find some really good deals at Safeway and please get a Safeway card so you can get the discounts. This store was pretty good. What I like is that the store is very clean and maintained well. The Safeway bakery is very awesome. Things are arranged nicely and Safeway carries some brands that King Soopers has dropped. For example my dog Shelby loves Paul Newman's own dog treats and they are a right size treat for her and when you buy PNO products they give alot to charity. I think the meat and seafood dept is much better at Safe way as well. They only have 4 self check out registers. All in all a great place to shop and the staff was very pleasant as well. You will pay a little more but I do hope Safeway stcks around and stays independent from King Soopers.
I asked the lady that was overseeing self check out if I could get just $10 cash back Rather than 20 as a lot of places only let you take a minimum of 20. And then I followed it with even with Google pay. And she was too busy telling me that they closed in 10 minutes to hear the question that I asked and she said yes well then when I use my Google pay to pay and I didn't get my cash back I asked her why and she goes oh we don't do that with Google pay... She then refused to refund me for the item that I bought to get the cash back and I have to buy another item. Is this really what you call customer service in this establishment?
Just horrible. Shop at king soopers across the street. They don’t have any available staff. Deli bakery no one is ever there. Waste of time standing there and waiting for someone to come. This location maybe has like 3 employees. When you ask for some assistance they are quick to dismiss you by saying I don’t work there. What doea that even mean!? You have a safeway work attite yet you don’t work there????

King Soopers parking lot across the street is much easier to use Safeway doesnt clean their shopping carts, super disgusting George and his bagger on Thursday evenings are a joke. Why? Tortilla chips broken and upside down Coffee paid for but not in any bags I could find Store 1635 used to be next to my apartment but now I live farther away but I would like to shop here occassionally if I was in the neighborhood Katie at customer service has a professional attitude and quickly defused the situation and used empathy but I still have to drive 45 minutes to get my $15 refunded for damaged or unreceived goods. The price of gas alone is barely worth the trip but Im still going to do it because thats who I am Reference number from customer service: 00199080 This is why I self checkout, and this is why I dont recommend you shop at this Safeway either
Would have been 5 stars but value savings on milk didn't ring up right at register. Annoying.
This is my preferred Safeway store that I've been going to for 4 years with no issues. However, last week and this week I was over charged for items. Today that amounted to $11.61! I also had to make 2 trips, twice, because the item on special sun chipswasn't in stock or a regular priced item sugar & hash browns were not in stock. Rain checks are not issued which I think is a shame and inconvenient for customers. As a side note, the produce & meat Depts were not well stocked.
My experience today at my local Safeway exceeded my expectations in every way. It is a friends birthday so I asked the floral department manager if she could make a bow to add to the potted plant I had chosen by the time I finished my shopping and returned to pick up the bow I was delighted to see she had put everything together for me and even put it in a box for easy transportation. My cashier, Cathy was so knowledgeable too! There is nothing like excellent customer service to put you in a good mood. Sending gratitude.
