I went here to print out a FedEx label and Mary Pat helped me out, she was very nice and polite. I don't come here often but the service is amazing and way cheaper to print out paper vs anywhere else, it costs only 15 cents. If your in town I highly suggest coming here just to tour and see what they got to offer.
We finally got around to getting library cards here after moving to the area then dealing with the pandemic, and I can't believe we didn't do so sooner. The librarians are all friendly, welcoming people and there is plenty to check out including the gorgeous building itself. If they don't have a book you're looking for, there's an interlibrary loan program where you can request it from another library and they'll send it over for you. There are also plenty of activities for children and a wonderful children's area upstairs. My son absolutely loves going and has quickly made us regulars so he can borrow new books, play with some toys, and greet Lucky the fish. Will definitely be spending much more time here in the future!
This Library is the absolute best! Did you know that you can even borrow cake pans! The staff here is very creative. There is something here for every age to enjoy. The children’s area is full of books, games, toys and more. The librarians are amazingly helpful and fun!
These Librarians impact so many lives and are constantly working to find new ways to engage with their community . Their teen night is innovative, age appropriate, and the kids love it!
Whenever I am in the area and have the chance, I love going to the St Albans Library. It is a beautiful historic structure, well maintained and nicely looked after. Even more important is how welcome I feel whenever I visit. The staff are all helpful, kind, and knowledgeable and were of great assistance to me and my family in not only finding what we were looking for in the library, but also in making recommendations to other sites and businesses in the area for us to visit and enjoy. The staff and Library are simply "The Best"!
I just started to come to the library more recently. My 14 year old autistic child loves coming here and all the librarians treat her so kindly and engage with her while I do my college assignments in a quiet corner. This free library has been a quiet blessing. The building is gorgeous from the exposed beams, moldings to the light fixtures. Thank you so much for being a place where people can connect and explore through books, internet and our community.
The librarians here were very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating with an unusual request. Also, the building is beautiful, and peaceful. Highly reccomend ed.
Clean, comfortable and spacious. Good hours. Open 5Mbps WiFi. Private clean bathroom.
Have came to library during waiting period for the bus, multiple blocked access for international sites from wi-fi, also connections very slow, was some weird maybe mentally disabled person sitting few yards away. Talked non stop with himself, and none one came over to mention to this person that this is library and silence is expected from every library visitor.
Beautiful old building, kinda and helpful staff. I love this library!!!
