The first Mass at St. Bernard of Clairvaux was June 27, 1911, offered by Msgr. Bernard Traudt, Vice gen'l of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, at the Knights Templar Hall on Mower Street. A portion of the current site was purchased in 1911 for $7500.
The parish mission statement expresses our desire to serve the Lord well in its stewardship of time, talent and treasure, as we celebrate the sacramental life of the Church and many events of importance in peoples' lives. We believe our parish community to be filled with hospitality to all and welcome you to come to pray and worship here. If you are new to the area, we can assist you in answering your questions. If this is the parish you would like to call your own, simply contact the Parish Office and we will arrange for someone to meet with you.
