Recognizing that the basic attitudes and interests acquired in early childhood are of great influence for the remainder of life, Saint Luke Christian Day School provides a play-based program focused on the whole child. Through centers-based free play, stories, music, creative art, and readiness activities, children are prepared for Kindergarten in an environment of love.
Saint Luke Christian Day School offers a variety of part-time school programs at each age level: two, three and four. The school year runs nine months, September through May. Children may enter the school at any age level on a space available basis.

Board of Directors
The school program is administered by a Board of Directors consisting of seven members, approved by the Saint Luke Lutheran Church Congregation Council. The Director of the Christian Day School, the Senior Pastor and the Chair of the Committee on Christian Education serve as ex-officio members.
Licensing
The Saint Luke Christian Day School is licensed and approved by the Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care. All teachers meet or exceed the state’s educational requirements. Specific information is available in the Christian Day school office.
