Urgent care located in a grocery store. I signed up for an appointment online with ease. The records are connected the MyChart phone app. I arrived early and the staff processed my intake information early. The NP was friendly and helpful. There was only one person staffing the whole place and they did a good job balancing everything. The after care instructions were detailed and helpful.
Went in for a strep test takes 2 mins as a walk in at 440 guy told me they close at 5 so they don’t have time. It takes literally 2 mins to do this. He was super snotty about it and acted like it was a huge inconvenience to have to talk to me. Just rude
One of the best places around to get care for acute issues. Very friendly staff!
Searched online for a urgent care still open on a Sunday at 4:15pm. hours said open until 5 so we headed there and tried many times to reach someone by phone on the way but never did. Walked in and up to the window and before we even told them the issue the person standing up front said “we’re closed” it was 4:40 not 5pm. I let him know it was not 5 yet. He didn’t ask what the problem was just told us to go to the emergency room. I was stung 30+ times by bees and was having an severe anaphylactic reaction with facial/throat swelling…he wasn’t concerned at all and said we should have gotten there sooner because they leave at 5. He was extremely rude, disrespectful and a bit of a smart a$$. We left and drove to the ER. I was admitted immediately ahead of the 30+ people waiting in the waiting room and got an epinephrine injection. ER said I should not have been turned away and urgent care had the capability to examine and give the injection. If your not there to serve and help people then you ought not be there at all. Waste of time and the little man-boy up front that day should maybe flip burgers somewhere instead.
I had such a great experience, mostly because my nurse practitioner Josel Balino made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. His outgoing personality made the whole experience really enjoyable. Definitely deserves 5 stars.
I had an online appt at 3:40. Arrived at 3:35 and the desk area was dark and no one there. No place to sign in but I could see someone back in a room. Waited about 15 min, went back up and someone was there. They said, “you’re 15 min late “. I said I’ve been right here in the chairs waiting. He then said, “we’ll you should’ve called our name. “. First of all, you should check your waiting area and second of all, I shouldn’t have to hunt the provider down. Once I got to a room they didn’t say who they were i. e. Dr NP etc so I had to ask. The NP spent more time googling my symptoms than looking at me and would show me pics off of google and say I think it’s this or that. Not very professional. Once they found out I was a nurse, the tables turned and they were not so snippy. Average experience at best. The Golden Rule needs to apply everywhere!!!
I am baffled by this experience. I made an appointment, confirmed the appointment & had an extensive conversation regarding my concerns via phone with the clinic and drove 30 minutes to the appointment to be turned away. I asked to perform testing and was advised “we aren’t going to because you are probably negative.” I have never in my medical experience, been or seen anyone get turned away from medical support. They advised they had tried calling me to cancel the appointment but my records indicate otherwise. Beyond disappointed in this healthcare experience.
Fast, convenient and professional. I showed up 5 mins early for my appointment and didn't have to wait at all. All the staff was very friendly.
I was overcome by ocean waves as I tried to get out of the water. I was helped out but was left with a lot of upper arm bruising and sand compacted right ear. I wanted to have the arm bruising/bulge checked out and get my ear cleaned out. My Primary Physician referred me to St. Luke's Convenient Care. I chose the Parkville location and was seen by the Nurse Practitioner Josel Balino. He checked my arm and verified it was healing. Then he got to my ear. He did a thorough flushing and removed a lot of the debris but confirmed that my ear canal wall still had sand sticking to it and an ear infection starting. He referred me to an ENT and provided me with eardrops and antibiotics. I was very satisfied with the quick service but also the patience he had with me.
very nice workers, helped out great and we had a fast service, explained everything very well to us, would recommend to anyone who needs to go into a clinic like this!
