UPDATED As of 9:39p : P.A now says Ultrasound tech left 2 hrs and as an alternative they can do bloodwork and get this nurse now wants to administer IV! Absolutely not! 4.5 hrs and Absolutely nothing has been done. PRIOR review as 851p :Arrived here since 5pm, its now 8:51pm. I've been in rapid bed since about 630p and I have yet to receive a cat scan. This is beyond ridiculous and I don't care how courteous staff is, I should not be here for almost 4 hrs and not 1 test has even been initiated! 2 ppl have left already because of the long wait time and its not remotely busy, I've seen busy er rooms and this isn't one of them
They deserve a zero. Lack of food and water to pregnant patientsover a 19 hour span. Nurses who just shrug their shoulders when you ask for the doctors or say "I'm not sure what to say'. Or giving the nurse a tube of my blood she forgot to take almost 3 hours after it was drawn. Having to call an on-call physician personally so a doctor in the ER can see me. Staying overnight for something that was supposed to be 4 hours but bounced me between departments that even cane as confusion to the attending doctors. Disgraceful.
No wait, not chaotic, very clean, and staff was friendly, but I did not feel comfortable with the doctor seeing my daughter. His bedside manners felt inappropriate. I am not sure about the other doctors but I will most definitely not return to St. Peters Pediatrics ER if Dr. Manoj Seth is on call.
The saddest part about rating is that i cannot give ZEROES, because this hospital definitely deserves it. The attitude, the behavior of nurse was horrible. There attitude was like they're doing charity here. I'm not going there anymore.
The nurses and doctors have taken exceptional care of my 3 year old admitted to St Peter’s for pneumonia and Adenovirus complications. The care has been better than I could have expected. The nurses here make sure the patients get the best possible care, make sure all your questions are answered and are just superb to say the least.
I really hate this hospital. They have poor covid precautions. Not all staff wore their masks and they put your on top of other patients. The staff are slow moving. We had to take our son for a covid test and it took over an hour. Then we waitted in multiple areas that were not spaced out. We had to check in at four different windows for no reason. When we go there for surgery the surgery was scheduled for 8 we got there at 730 and the procedure didn't take place until 9:45. No one was apologetic. When my son surgery was over they asked me to leave the conference room and sit in the hallway next to tool's.
If I could give zero I honestly would. The one star is ONLY for how courteous/polite mostly everyone was. My father had been feeling sick and we had done 3 Covid tests and determined that wasn’t it. He had a pulsing headache for days, back and abdominal pain, and a high fever. We assumed the emergency room would help us but once we got there AT TWELVE his vitals were checked and we were out into a room, we assumed this was a good thing and he’d be checked out soon. 2 hours later someone finally comes in. She asks us questions and examines him, while some other guy that was with her writes things down. She then leaves and says they and I quote “will give him something for that” that meaning the headache because he didn’t have a fever at the time. She disappears with the other guy. At 2:23 pm some other girl comes in and tells us she will administer a Covid and flu test and that the duration would be one hour. 3:26 rolls around and my mother calls me to see you everything’s going and I told her we waited for 2 hours then got a Covid/flu test and will be getting it soon because the woman who administered it said it took an hour. I had asked 3 times to random nurses in the hall when we could leave or when the doctors would return to check out my dad or give him something for the headache and reoccurring fever if in case he got it later. They all said they would ask and let us know, they never came back. I had been with my dad since 12 but I had work at 5:15 so at 4:45 more than two hours after the Covid test I had to go. I had almost been there 5 hours. I left but kept in contact with my dad to see if they came back with the results and the medication. He told me he asked two times when he could leave because he was getting sick of the hospital, they also never came back to let him know. He got his results at 7 pm and was let out of the hospital. After SEVEN hours, not only did they not give him anything for the headache or the fever, but they didn’t tell him what he could possibly have OR even recommend over the counter medication; all they determined was that he didn’t have Covid or the flu which we literally already knew. Then later they sent us a letter in the mail, more precisely; the bill. The bill is nearly 1,000 FOR A COVID TEST AND A SEVEN HOUR WAIT. I very honestly think this is insane. Saint Peters emergency room helped with nothing. If I wanted someone to get better I would never recommend them.
I went in for a procedure. And the staff were super kind and full of information. I’ve been to 2 other hospitals and they didn’t take as much care of me as St. Peter’s. The RN’s were really nice and constantly checking up on me. Great hospital
I think they have a policy where you have to wait 30-60 minutes in between each step in the process just to stagger the timing between patients. There HAS to be more people who can run this operation. It’s unfair to think they are always this short staffed and expect to give legitimate care with any sense of urgency. Check-in 9 PM…. Still here… no answers.
If you have an emergency, DO NOT GO HERE. Went here with agonizing pain only on one side of my body, and they brought me to a bed that wasn't in a room because "they ran out of space". Okay, fine. Waited for an hour without anyone talking to us until a lady comes up and asks if I peed in a cup. Said no, no one has said a word to us, and has me go to that. When I come back she is completely gone. My bf said "she told me just set it to the side until someone comes." So I have a cup of pee sitting on the railway while I'm trying not to cry from the pain. Few hours later, still no one. We decide to leave and the nurse was shocked when we go to check out. One of them said that wait times are usually 7-8 hours. Let me say that again: 7-8 HOURS FOR AN EMERGENCY ROOM. How is that okay??? If it had been an actual life threatening emergency, they still have to wait 7 hours because there isn't enough staff. If you care about yourself or your loved ones at all, DO NOT COME HERE.
