I just returned home from a visit from the ER at Riverpark hospital. I hate having to go to the hospital, but I have to say they were amazing. Ever though they took patients in front of me who I understood were from what I could see were having severe symptoms. They were all kind, efficient, and very thorough. Dr Claflin, the nurses that I could remember their names Livia and Hope were very kind and so understanding of my situation. There were others that took me for my test that were just as wonderful and I appreciate them all. Mainly because I really didn’t want to be there and my health has been not the best but they really were so wonderful and it really makes a difference when you’re feeling your worst. Thank all for being you!!
My father passed away due to the lack of concern for his health problem. When confronted to speak to administration they keep blowing us off. I would recommend AutoZone before this funny farm. They showed no interest in speaking on this issue. The nurses were rude and items of my father were missing from him. Don't seem to be a big thing to them at all, at least for the moment. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. We will be taking this to the next level. They would Not even give us there superior information to talk to. They lied right to our face like we were stupid when we went to speak to him
The morning team on duty 2 / 8 / 23 was a wonderful team. Took my husband on this date because he hurt his ankle they was extremely busy but they all had amazing attitudes. Took him about 8 am band was there about 3 and a half hours ... But I just want to praze the ER team. On how quickly the delt an work together to take care of a emergency that involved a infant that a mom brought in IM NOT GIVING DETAILS SO PLEASE DON'T ASK But the ER team they worked quickly to take care of that sweet baby an her family so I. Just want to tell them. That they are awesome an got there job done. Yall should be super proud of the work. They did on that morning.
Had an arthroscopic surgery 1/3/2023. All staff was on their “A” game from time of check in to discharge. My experience was definitely 5 stars. If ever needed I would return here to Ascension Saint Thomas River Parkway Hospital for their excellent professional services!!
If i have to sue this hospital to get the care I need then I will do it. I went to the hospital In severe amounts of pain returned home later that night pain got worse ended up im the er again all they want to do is put me on was steroids. My face is swollen from the pain all they want to do is give steroids which I'm already on they sent me home with more steroids. Pain is excruciating and I'm about to sue. This hospital doesn't listen to there patients at all.
This hospital sucks. If I could give it one star I would. The staff is super rude and talk behind your back when they think you’re not listening. I was going to say something to the nurses I heard talking bad about others, but they obviously have a sad and pathetic life if all they do is talk bad about others.
Very bad experience, I was 39 weeks and 6 days pregnant, and began having contractions 4 minutes apart so decided to go ahead and go to the hospital. We get there and they wouldn’t allow my husband to go back with me until admitted into the hospital. They checked me, hooked me up to a machine which shows my contractions exactly 4 minutes apart and after about an hour said I could walk around to see if things progress. Mind you they said they cannot admit me until further progression. They check me after about 3 hours and come to the conclusion to send me home. So I leave the hospital in pain because there’s no point in waiting around there alone. We leave and a few hours pass and my contractions began getting stronger and 3 minutes apart. We decide it’s probably time to go to the hospital again, this time I call my doctors office to confirm and they said to definitely go. We get there and the same thing happens. Mind you I’m in a lot more pain at this point. They check me and say I’m only dilated to a 2, and call Robin who decided she still won’t admit me. They offer me some type of pain medication given through an IV which they said would put me to sleep to rest, which I did not feel comfortable taking. At this point they offer to send me home or I can stay but my husband still cannot come back until admitted. I ask the nurse how am I supposed to know when to come back and she couldn’t even answer my questions. So at this point I’m beyond upset, nurses are not even friendly and barely check on you and with being in such pain was not good.I decided I no longer felt comfortable giving birth at this hospital. So we decide to go to a different hospital. From the moment I left the hospital until we got to the other hospital which took about an 1 hour and 7 minutes to get there, I had went from 2cm to 7cm dilated. And ended up giving birth an hour and a half later. I feel like how they handle pregnant women is completely unreasonable. Not every pregnancy is the same, if I would have gone home again I would have ended up giving birth there instead of another hospital because I couldn’t not simply get admitted into this hospital. Not sure whether this is nurses here or the doctors fault but highly wouldn’t recommend giving birth here.
Always hear such negative reviews and comments on River Park but I have to brag on them!! They took amazing care of my daughter before and after surgery. She so sick all through the night. We stayed in ICU for the night since they do not have a pediatric wing they definitely could use one the nurses checked in on us hourly if not before then to make sure everything was good and if anyone needed anything. As we was being discharged today the nurse Kay made sure to let us know that if we needed anything when we made it home just to let them know and they would take care of it. Great nurses and doctors at this hospital.
They don't deserve 1 star but I had to pick something. I will not choose them for any tests anymore. I could have already had my test done had I drove out of town than the time it has taken the to keep skipping over me then take their lunch .....let me say I am about to lose it. This is a very important test or I would have already left.
