TV did not work. No glass by sink. No cups for coffee pot or coffee. Inside of coffee pot was layers of dust. Bugs fell out of bath towel. Bug in one bed Suitcase stand was broken. Walls were paper thin/heard people on other side of us. Reservation for two nights; only stayed one night; could not stand to stay another night.Rooms: 1/5
Go ahead, keep looking for something better and keep this little secret place safe! This is my go to comfy spot. The shower....chef's kiss, you'll be inspired to go and change yours at home. The little grilling area and picnic table is a home touch that shouldn't go wasted. Mike will make you feel as if you've been coming here your whole life and has a rental for everything! Great beds, not just hotel quality, real beds. After a good water day and a hike, boom! UNFORGETTABLE SUNSETS, right on the water. Walk across the parking lot for a drink and dinner, a little walk or sandy car ride to the coffee shop and little gas station. It's perfect for a small party or that private place to just be at ease and next to nature. Kid friendly, be a good neighbor. A very neat drive to the dam, fish hatchery, a beautiful view of the divided lake sides. The back porch is something you will not find anywhere else in ND unless you rent a cabin and even then it will not be as authentic. There's a dollar general not far away, the state park is only a 15 min scenic drive away. Boat ramp access and campground just a small drive down the hill. Swimming and beach access to see the cliffs are within walking distance. Has a larger mini fridge, microwave, decent tv, BOMB AC, spacious bathroom, desk area, dining table in room. No matter what your adventure is, you won't regret staying here. Happy Fishing!!!
Super cute rooms with updated decor. Perfect setup for a family. Our room had a king and queen bed, two sinks, large shower, mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and a desk area. Even has a back porch and wifi! Family owned and it shows. I feel well taken care of here.
This was an awesome place to stay for 2 months. Nate and Mike treat you like family!! Veronica kept my room up as well. The Iron Oar next door was an added plus with great food and awesome help from Annie, Angel and Olivia. Staying close to the lake and the wildlife near by was a BIG bonus!! Thanks for the great stay!!Rooms: 5/5
Skip the bigger towns and stay here. Great rooms and outstanding water pressure in the shower. Kind prompt service and a great view. Would return here over and over.Rooms: 5/5
Stopped here while just driving by. Was shown a room before we rented it. Great place, friendly people. The bar and grill were so good. We got a queen and a king bed, the sun set was truly worth the money paid for the room.Rooms: 5/5
Rooms were very nice, except our room only had 1 working light in the room. Whomever was in the room next to us, had their TV volume very high the whole time .... even when he wasn't in the room. Overall, was very noisy area with people slamming doors and knocking on doors at 4:30 am.
Great place. Clean nice rooms. The Iron Oar Restaurant is right next door same owner. Food is outstanding. They had a nice barbecue for the 4th of July with a band, prime rib etc. Nate the owner is very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotelRooms: 5/5
Nice and updated rooms. Good location for needs or things you may want to do or visit. Some good views. A bit problematic in trying to get ahold of someone at this location and other locations as well. A bit over-priced.
Nice rooms with small back porch, with a view of the sunset over lake Sakakawea. I wasn't a fan of the in room Kurrig coffee.
