Had a nice visit here on a drive through Chippewa Falls. Would recommend the seaweed salad. Their soups, both the clear and miso, along with their house salad were also excellent. Shumai was a touch underwhelming. Entrees were solid. All in all, would return! Service was friendly and prompt!Recommended dishesSeaweed Salad

This is a regular go-to for us here in Chippewa. Be aware that Sakura is a very popular place to order out since there are few other options without driving into Eau Claire so dine-in service can be slow at times as togo items get prepared. The portions are generous and the plates are decorative. Large menu with plenty of non-sushi and non-fish options for everyone to enjoy.

Absolutely delicious, beautiful presentation and fast, friendly service. We’re so happy to have stumbled upon this gem on our way back to NE WI. We will definitely stop here again the next time we are headed to or from Minneapolis.

In the area camping, last night here so let's go explore Chippewa Falls and all it offers! Haven't had Sushi in forever so Yes.....some of the best we've had SO glad we stopped in. The vegetable tempura roll....OMG! Good wine/beer/ Definitely worth your stop. See you next time

This is the best Japanese restaurant that we've ever been to. In fact, it's one of our regular places to go when we celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. The food is always amazing and perfectly prepared. The wait staff are very friendly and polite.

Sushi was great and so was the service. Highly recommend as it was the best sushi I have tried in the Chippewa area. Only reason for not giving five stars was one of the I think owner’s or waitress’s kid was running all over and screeching and kept climbing on my booth and bouncing on the seat and was just all over the place. Eventually they told him to leave guests alone and then it was fine.

It's always good food, but lately the service hasn't been as good as it usually is. The last two time I've been, during different times, my friend and I waited about 10 minutes to even have someone greet and take our drink orders, and then they want to take your food order at the same time and don't return until they're dropping off food or the ticket. Like it's good, and I'm still going to go when I have a sushi craving but it's definitely not somewhere to go if you have a limited amount of time.

We have been frequent returning customers to Sakura and have only positives for the food and service. It has always been consistent over the 20+ visits and keeps us coming back. Quality sushi, good appetizers. Always is fresh food. Easily best sushi in Chippewa Valley.

I have been here a few times and it is a toss-up between good food and bad service. To elaborate, we do love the food here but the service is just disappointing... I think everytime we have say down to eat here, we end up waiting for way too long sometimes watching the servers help people who say down after us before even taking our drink order... So if you go here just expect at least an hour no matter the size of your order.
