Sal’s was such a delightful experience. We grabbed a few cuts of meat for our meals this week. Everything was amazing. The pre-cooked eggplant parm was some of the best eggplant parm I have ever eaten. The customer service was top notch.
I told Sal’s knowledgeable and friendly counter staff at that I needed steaks for an upcoming dinner; and that I’m a traditional charcoal BBQ cooker. Sal’s suggested teres major for my BBQ, prepared with salt and pepper. I never heard of this cut of beef and did some online research. It’s located right below the front leg and “mostly know only by skilled butchers”. It’s also known as shoulder tender or shoulder filet steak. I split my order with porterhouse and teres major. The delectable porterhouse quickly disappeared while I cooked the teres major on the BBQ. They were delicious, tender and flavorful. I will gladly get these steaks again. Kudos to Sal’s crew for recommending them.

Great quality meats and everything for sides from a family owned business. $5.99 lbs for ground chuck and it wasn't that mush the big Mart sells.

Really great meat good customer service
Sals used to be a great place to go. The customer service the last couple times has been very bad. Today my husband went to get some items and saw a new item. He was going to buy it to try and was told it was not for sale even thought it was in showcase. My husband then asked why it would be out in the case if not for sale and the man behind the counter got very rude and threw a bag at my husband down the counter and Said fine it will be $50.00. Totally uncalled for, rude and sooo unprofessional.

The customer service is outstanding! The meatball mix is 5 stars plus.... The store is always clean, and the meats are always fresh..my family has been going to Sal's for years....we have honestly never been even remotely disappointed. It's a picture perfect small business that we love to support.
