Beautiful park with a playground, boardwalks, covered shelter, volleyball, & more. The sunset was amazing as I drove by, so I stopped & took pictures. The only bad thing was bugs - I got ate up during the time I was there.
Beautiful stretch of beach, not busy at all. A little hard to get to as it's about 1 hour from Panama city and almost 2 from Tallahassee. But the views are fantastic. One of very few places you can still drive on the beach. To a horse riding trip today and it was fantastic. Just make sure you bring whatever you think you may need, there are only a few little shops nearby and I wouldn't expect much.
Beautiful area. Love the boardwalk overlooking the bay/ marsh. Loved how they had a place to air up bike tires next to the bike trail. Even had tools to work on your bike. Also the water fountain that even had a drink fountain for pets. Love love love!
Wonderful park with great views. Love that there is a water fountain with a doggie water fountain as well. Nice easy walk. Covered picnic tables too. There was an older boardwalk with large gaps between boards that isn't dog friendly. But the newer ones are very nice.
A very nice public beach! Driving on it is permitted but not many people do and I’ve never seen it over crowded. The water is usually calm but I’ve never seen it clear. I know people that have. We love driving down and spending a long day there. Restrooms: Restroom with an enclosed outdoor shower on the beach side. It’s usually nice because we clean up for a long drive home. Dog-friendliness: Dogs a welcome
Nice little park, great for a picnic while the kids play on the playground, or enjoy the board walk along the bay. The board walk has multiple entrances from the main road bike trail with a bike pump and tools at one. There is also water for both you and your dog at another entrance to the walk. It also has a sand volleyball court, paddle ball court, fire pit, bathrooms, and a dock that has stairs to the bay. Playground: The playground is on the small side but very nice and very close the the picnic area. Picnic area: Multiple screened in picnic areas close to the playground, parking, and bathrooms.
Beautiful park with great water views but the restrooms were pretty bad and sand flees are even worse. Couldn’t swim either since the beach was covered in Portuguese Man a War Jellyfish
Lovely beach and serviceable amenities. Restrooms were clean, if sparse. The boardwalk was still intact, but part of the end closest to the beach was still buried in the sand washed in from hurricane Michael. Close by is a road for vehicle access to the beach. Several stables in the area also offer horseback riding on the beach. No lifeguards available, pet friendly.
Nice and well maintained bayside park. Screened picnic shelters, boardwalk to the edge of the bay, paved parking, pickleball and volleyball courts. Clean toilets. Beach shower.
This park would be great for a family gathering. Screened in picnic table areas, access to the beach on the gulf side for swimming. Pickelball courts, bathrooms clean and a playground. You can also launch kayaks from here. Feels truly like sitting in the middle of paradise and its free. Elevated walkway through the trees is nice also. Bald Eagles roost here.
